B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration

WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT THE POTABLE WATER SYSTEM IS DEPRESSURIZED. A PRESSURIZED SYSTEM CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS WHEN THEY DO WORK ON IT.

(1) Depressurize the potable water system (Ref. AMM TASK 38-10-00-614-002).

C. Safety Precautions
(1) On the water service panel, put the WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to pressurize the potable water system.

D. Get Access

NOTE: A placard shows the location of the water filter.

(1) If these items of equipment are installed and if necessary, remove them:
(a) The galley equipment (Ref. AMM TASK 25-35-00-010-001).
(b) The applicable access panel.

4. Procedure

A. Replacement of the Galley Water-Filter Cartridge
(1) For the replacement of the galley water-filter elements, refer to (Ref. AMM TASK 38-12-23-920-802).

A. Replacement of the Galley Water-Filter Cartridge
(1) For the replacement of the Galley Water-Filter Elements refer to (Ref. AMM TASK 38-12-23-920-802).

B. Leak Check
(1) Pressurize the potable water system (Ref. AMM TASK 38-10-00-614-001).
(2) In the galley:
(a) Put the CONTAINER 5 L (1.32 USGAL) in position below the work area.
(b) Set the water shut-off valve to the OPEN position.
(c) Open the potable water faucet to bleed the system and drain the black water from the new cartridge.
(d) If necessary, open the water boiler faucets to bleed each boiler and do a check of the flow of water.
(e) Close the water boiler faucets.
(f) Examine the water filter for leaks.
(3) Depressurize the potable water system (Ref. AMM TASK 38-10-00-614-002).
(4) Remove the container.
(5) Dry the work area with a cloth Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .

A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) If you removed an access panel, install it.
(3) If you removed the galley equipment, install it (Ref. AMM TASK 25-35-00-410-001).
(4) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S) from the water service panel.

B. De-energize the ground service network
