A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Energize the ground service network
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-861-001).
(2) Do the special precautions before work on the overwing escape-slide system (Ref. AMM TASK 25-62-00-481-001).
(3) Remove the seats as necessary (Ref. AMM TASK 25-21-41-000-001).
(4) Open the related overwing emergency exit (Ref. AMM TASK 52-22-00-010-802).
(5) Remove the related emergency exit markers (Ref. AMM TASK 33-51-13-000-001).
(6) Remove the related emergency exit signs (Ref. AMM TASK 33-51-16-000-001).
(7) Remove the related slide arm indicator-light (Ref. AMM TASK 52-73-21-000-802).
4. Procedure(1) Energize the ground service network
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-861-001).
(2) Do the special precautions before work on the overwing escape-slide system (Ref. AMM TASK 25-62-00-481-001).
(3) Remove the seats as necessary (Ref. AMM TASK 25-21-41-000-001).
(4) Open the related overwing emergency exit (Ref. AMM TASK 52-22-00-010-802).
(5) Remove the related emergency exit markers (Ref. AMM TASK 33-51-13-000-001).
(6) Remove the related emergency exit signs (Ref. AMM TASK 33-51-16-000-001).
(7) Remove the related slide arm indicator-light (Ref. AMM TASK 52-73-21-000-802).

A. Removal of the Frame Lining of the Overwing Emergency Exit
(1) Make match marks on the components that you disconnect/remove to record their connections/positions. This is important for the subsequent installation procedure.
(2) Remove the lining strips (9).
(3) Remove the decor-ring (7):
(b) Twist the decor-ring (7) until the snap guide (upper left) is released with a click.
(c) Hold the decor-ring (7) on the right side with your fingers.
(d) Twist the decor-ring (7) until the snap guide (upper right) is released with a click.
(e) Pull the decor-ring (7) up and remove it.
(4) Use a SCREWDRIVER - SMALL to push the clips in the holes of the cover-ring (6) and remove it.
(5) Remove the screws (5) and the washers (3) and (4).
(6) Carefully lift the panel (2) to disengage the yo-yo rollers (13) from the brackets (12).
(7) Release the panel (2) from the brackets (1) and remove it.
(8) Remove the screws (11) and the washers (10).
(9) Carefully lift the panels (8) to disengage the yo-yo rollers (13) from the brackets (12).
(10) Release the panels (8) from the brackets (1) and remove them.
(1) Make match marks on the components that you disconnect/remove to record their connections/positions. This is important for the subsequent installation procedure.
(2) Remove the lining strips (9).
(3) Remove the decor-ring (7):
CAUTION:
DO NOT PUSH OR PULL THE PLASTIC PARTS WITH TOO MUCH FORCE. PUSH OR PULL THEM ONLY IN THE SPECIFIED DIRECTION. IF YOU PUSH OR PULL THEM IN THE INCORRECT DIRECTION OR WITH TOO MUCH FORCE, YOU CAN CAUSE DAMAGE OR BREAK THE PLASTIC PARTS.
(a) Hold the decor-ring (7) on the left side with your fingers. (b) Twist the decor-ring (7) until the snap guide (upper left) is released with a click.
(c) Hold the decor-ring (7) on the right side with your fingers.
(d) Twist the decor-ring (7) until the snap guide (upper right) is released with a click.
(e) Pull the decor-ring (7) up and remove it.
(4) Use a SCREWDRIVER - SMALL to push the clips in the holes of the cover-ring (6) and remove it.
(5) Remove the screws (5) and the washers (3) and (4).
(6) Carefully lift the panel (2) to disengage the yo-yo rollers (13) from the brackets (12).
(7) Release the panel (2) from the brackets (1) and remove it.
(8) Remove the screws (11) and the washers (10).
(9) Carefully lift the panels (8) to disengage the yo-yo rollers (13) from the brackets (12).
(10) Release the panels (8) from the brackets (1) and remove them.
