A. De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-862-002).

B. Connect the aircraft to the ground (Ref. AMM TASK 12-34-24-869-002).

C. Get Access
   (1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE in position at the flap track No. 2 fairing.
   (2) For the left wing:
     (a) Remove and retain the top cover of the movable fairing of the No. 2 flap track: 531AT (Ref. AMM TASK 57-55-11-000-001).
   (3) For the right wing:
     (a) Remove and retain the top cover of the movable fairing of the No. 2 flap track: 631AT (Ref. AMM TASK 57-55-11-000-001).

C. Get Access
   (1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE in position below the flap-track 2 fairing.
   (2) For the left wing:
     (a) Remove and retain the top cover of the movable fairing of flap track no. 2 ( 531AT) (Ref. AMM TASK 57-55-11-000-004).
   (3) For the right wing:
     (a) Remove and retain the top cover of the movable fairing of flap track no. 2 ( 631AT) (Ref. AMM TASK 57-55-11-000-004).
4. Procedure

A. Temporary Protection of the Electrical Conduits End-Fittings in the Flap Track Number 2 Fairing

WARNING: BE CAREFUL NOT TO CUT YOUR FINGERS. FLAKES OF NICKEL ARE SHARP.
   (1) At each fitting use the procedure that follows to protect against corrosion:
     (a) Use Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and a Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) to remove any contamination from the fitting.
     (b) Remove flakes or blisters.
NOTE: We recommend that you use a dental tool or a seal tool (non metallic) to remove the flakes and the blisters.
     (c) During this task, make sure that the base metal is not damaged.
     (d) Use a BRUSH - BRISTLED or an SPRAY - BOTTLE, PUMP TYPE (NON AEROSOL) to apply a continuous thin and smooth coat of Corrosion Preventive Compound-Heavy Duty Hard Film - (Material No.12ACB1) , to cover all the fitting ESPM 203330.

A. Close Access
   (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
   (2) For the left wing:
     (a) Install the top cover of the movable fairing of the No. 2 flap track: 531AT (Ref. AMM TASK 57-55-11-400-001) .
   (3) For the right wing:
     (a) Install the top cover of the movable fairing of the No. 2 flap track: 631AT (Ref. AMM TASK 57-55-11-400-001) .
   (4) Disconnect the aircraft from the ground (Ref. AMM TASK 12-34-24-869-002).
   (5) Remove the access platform(s).
Subtask 24-92-00-410-064-C ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Close Access
   (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
   (2) For the left wing:
     (a) Install the top cover of the movable fairing of flap track no. 2 ( 531AT) (Ref. AMM TASK 57-55-11-400-004).
   (3) For the right wing:
     (a) Install the top cover of the movable fairing of flap track no. 2 ( 631AT) (Ref. AMM TASK 57-55-11-400-004).
   (4) Disconnect the aircraft from the ground (Ref. AMM TASK 12-34-24-869-002).
   (5) Remove the access platform(s).
