A. Cleaning of the TR
(2) Use the VACUUM CLEANER to remove the dust from the TR (1) and the adjacent area.
(3) Adjust the air pressure to less than 5 bar (72.5 psi).
(4) Use the low pressure AIR SOURCE FILTERED, DRY to remove the dust collected in the TR (1).
(5) If necessary, use a Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) made moist with Non Aqueous Cleaner-- Isopropyl Alcohol - (Material No.08BBD1) to clean the external surfaces of the TR (1).
(6) Use the VACUUM CLEANER to clean the hot-air exhaust duct (2) and the ventilation grid of the TR (1).
(7) Install the TR (1) (Ref. AMM TASK 24-32-51-400-001).
Subtask 24-32-00-865-059-A WARNING:
WHEN YOU USE COMPRESSED AIR:
- USE THE CORRECT PROTECTION (FACE SHIELD OR GOGGLES)
- DO NOT POINT THE AIRFLOW AT YOURSELF OR OTHER PERSONS.
CAUTION:
IF THERE IS DRY SAND/DUST, DO NOT USE FLUIDS TO REMOVE THE SAND/DUST. IF THERE IS LAYER OF SAND/DUST ON THE AIRCRAFT SURFACES, REMOVE THE SAND/DUST WITH A VACUUM CLEANER (OR, IF YOU CANNOT USE A VACUUM CLEANER, USE AN AIR BLOWER, A SOFT CLOTH OR A HAND BRUSH). FLUIDS CAN MIX WITH THE SAND/DUST AND MAKE A PASTE THAT CAN CAUSE EROSION/ABRASION. THIS PASTE CAN GO INTO AREAS THAT ARE NOT EASY TO CLEAN.
CAUTION:
MAKE SURE THAT THE VACUUM CLEANER IS CLEAN. IF YOU USE A VACUUM CLEANER THAT IS NOT CLEAN, THERE IS A RISK OF DUST CONTAMINATION IN THE AVIONICS COMPARTMENT.
(1) Remove the TR (1) (Ref. AMM TASK 24-32-51-000-001). (2) Use the VACUUM CLEANER to remove the dust from the TR (1) and the adjacent area.
(3) Adjust the air pressure to less than 5 bar (72.5 psi).
