B. Remove the equipment installed in the Video Control Center (VCC)
(1) Remove the Control Panel (CP) from the VCC (Ref. AMM TASK 23-36-34-000-002).

B. Remove the equipment installed in the Video Control Center (VCC)
(1) Open the doors of the overhead stowage compartment to get access to the VCC.
(2) Remove the Control Panel (CP) from the VCC (Ref. AMM TASK 23-36-34-000-001).
Subtask 23-36-11-010-050-AO ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Open the doors of the overhead stowage compartment to get access to the VCC.
(2) Remove the Control Panel (CP) from the VCC (Ref. AMM TASK 23-36-34-000-001).
B. Get Access
(1) Put a STEPLADDER 1.0 M (3.3 FT) below the left Overhead Stowage Compartment (OHSC) between frames FR20 and FR21.
(2) Open the access doors of the overhead stowage compartment and the Video Control Center (VCC) (1).
(3) Remove the closeout panel (2):
(a) Release the fasteners (3) and hold the closeout panel (2).
(b) Remove the nut (6), washers (5), screw (7) and bonding strap (4).
(c) Safety the bonding strap (4) in the VCC (1).
(d) Remove the closeout panel (2).
(4) Remove the equipment installed in the VCC:
(a) Remove the Removable Display Unit (11MH) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-36-34-000-002).
(b) Remove the Seat Power Box/Unit / Overhead Distribution Box (36MH) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-36-23-000-802).
(c) Remove the Modem Processor Unit / Remote Modem Unit (99MH) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-36-31-000-801).
Subtask 23-36-11-865-056-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Put a STEPLADDER 1.0 M (3.3 FT) below the left Overhead Stowage Compartment (OHSC) between frames FR20 and FR21.
(2) Open the access doors of the overhead stowage compartment and the Video Control Center (VCC) (1).
(3) Remove the closeout panel (2):
(a) Release the fasteners (3) and hold the closeout panel (2).
(b) Remove the nut (6), washers (5), screw (7) and bonding strap (4).
(c) Safety the bonding strap (4) in the VCC (1).
(d) Remove the closeout panel (2).
(4) Remove the equipment installed in the VCC:
(a) Remove the Removable Display Unit (11MH) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-36-34-000-002).
(b) Remove the Seat Power Box/Unit / Overhead Distribution Box (36MH) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-36-23-000-802).
(c) Remove the Modem Processor Unit / Remote Modem Unit (99MH) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-36-31-000-801).
C. Open, safety and tag this(these) circuit breaker(s):

Subtask 23-36-11-020-050-R ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Removal of the Video Control Center (VCC)
(1) Remove the electrical connectors (8) as follows:
(a) Remove the nuts (15), the washers (14), the clamps (12) from the studs (13).
(b) Before you disconnect the electrical connectors, make sure that there is identification on them. This is important for the subsequent installation procedure.
(c) Remove the electrical connectors (8).
(d) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
(2) Remove the bonding cables (11) as follows:
(a) Remove the nuts (9), the washers (10), and the bonding cables (11) from the studs (7).
(3) Remove the screws (4) and the washers (5) and carefully remove the VCC (2) from the overhead stowage compartment (3).
(4) Keep the parts for the subsequent installation procedure.
Subtask 23-36-11-020-050-AH ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Remove the electrical connectors (8) as follows:
(a) Remove the nuts (15), the washers (14), the clamps (12) from the studs (13).

(c) Remove the electrical connectors (8).
(d) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
(2) Remove the bonding cables (11) as follows:
(a) Remove the nuts (9), the washers (10), and the bonding cables (11) from the studs (7).
(3) Remove the screws (4) and the washers (5) and carefully remove the VCC (2) from the overhead stowage compartment (3).
(4) Keep the parts for the subsequent installation procedure.
A. Removal of the Video Control Center (VCC)
(2) Disconnect the electrical connectors:
(a) Loosen the screws (11) and disconnect the electrical connectors (12) from the related receptacles (16).
(b) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
(d) Remove and discard the tie wraps (18) from the harness clamps (17).
(e) Remove the screws (20), washers (19), harness clamps (17) and spacers (21) (if applicable).
(f) Safety the bonding straps (15) to the VCC (1) structure.
(3) Loosen the captive screws (9).
(4) Disengage the pins (10) of the VCC (1) from the plate (8).
(5) Carefully remove the VCC (1) from the overhead stowage compartment.
(6) Keep the parts for the subsequent installation procedure.
CAUTION:
TO PREVENT POSSIBLE CROSS-CONNECTION OF THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS, MAKE SURE THAT PLUGS AND RECEPTACLES ARE CLEARLY IDENTIFIED.
(1) Put the identification marks on the connectors (12) before you disconnect them. This is important for the subsequent installation procedure. (2) Disconnect the electrical connectors:
(a) Loosen the screws (11) and disconnect the electrical connectors (12) from the related receptacles (16).
(b) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
CAUTION:
MAKE SURE THAT THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR(S) IS(ARE) DISCONNECTED BEFORE YOU DISCONNECT THE BONDING STRAP(S).
(c) Remove the screws (13), the washers (14) and the bonding straps (15). (d) Remove and discard the tie wraps (18) from the harness clamps (17).
(e) Remove the screws (20), washers (19), harness clamps (17) and spacers (21) (if applicable).
(f) Safety the bonding straps (15) to the VCC (1) structure.
(3) Loosen the captive screws (9).
(4) Disengage the pins (10) of the VCC (1) from the plate (8).
(5) Carefully remove the VCC (1) from the overhead stowage compartment.
(6) Keep the parts for the subsequent installation procedure.
