WARNING:
DO NOT LET ENGINE OIL STAY ON YOUR SKIN FOR A LONG TIME. FLUSH THE OIL FROM YOUR SKIN WITH WATER. THE OIL IS POISONOUS AND CAN GO THROUGH YOUR SKIN AND INTO YOUR BODY.

A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU, make sure that a WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to start the engine.
(2) On the overhead maintenance panel 50VU, make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off. Make sure that a WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).
Subtask 79-22-43-010-051-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU, make sure that a WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to start the engine.

Subtask 79-22-43-420-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Installation of the Scavenge Oil Filter Housing Assembly:
(1) Remove the caps from the openings.
(2) Install the oil tubes on the scavenge oil filter housing assembly
(a) Install new AIPC 79-22-43-80-050 PACKING (3) and AIPC 79-22-43-80-040 PACKING (19) on the oil feed tube (22) (Ref. AMM TASK 70-23-13-911-010).
(b) Lubricate the oil feed tube mating faces on the scavenge oil filter housing assembly and the oil tank assembly usingV10-077 lubricant (engine oil) .

(c) Attach the oil feed tube (22) on the scavenge oil filter housing assembly with the three bolts (21) and the three washers (20).
(d) Tighten the bolts (21) with your hand.

(e) Install the oil feed tube (22) on the scavenge oil filter housing assembly.

(f) Install new AIPC 79-22-43-80-070 PACKING (4) and AIPC 79-22-41-80-250 PACKING (8) on the oil tube (10) (Ref. AMM TASK 70-23-13-911-010).
(g) Lubricate the oil feed tube mating faces on the scavenge oil filter housing assembly and the oil scavenge pump withV10-077 lubricant (engine oil) .
(h) Attach the oil tube (10) on the scavenge oil filter housing assembly with the three bolts (9) and the three washers (11).
(i) Tighten the bolts (9) with your hand.
(3) Install the scavenge oil filter assembly on the oil tank
(a) Put the scavenge oil filter housing assembly with the oil feed tube (22) and the oil tube (10) in position on the oil tank.
(b) Align and engage the flange of the oil feed tube (22) with the flange on the oil tank.
(c) Install the bracket (2), the washer (23) and the three bolts (1).
(d) Tighten the bolts (1) with your hand.
(e) Align and engage the flange of the oil tube (10) with the flange on the oil scavenge pump (7).
(f) Install the washer (6) and the bolts (5).
(g) Tighten the bolts (5) with your hand.
(h) Install the three washers (14) and the three bolts (13).
(i) TORQUE the bolts (13) to between 95 and 85 lbf.in (1.07 and 0.96 m.daN )
(Ref. AMM TASK 70-23-11-911-013).
(j) TORQUE the bolts (1), (5), (9) and (21) to between 95 and 85 lbf.in (1.07 and 0.96 m.daN )

Subtask 79-22-43-420-051-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Remove the caps from the openings.
(2) Install the oil tubes on the scavenge oil filter housing assembly
(a) Install new AIPC 79-22-43-80-050 PACKING (3) and AIPC 79-22-43-80-040 PACKING (19) on the oil feed tube (22) (Ref. AMM TASK 70-23-13-911-010).
(b) Lubricate the oil feed tube mating faces on the scavenge oil filter housing assembly and the oil tank assembly using

(c) Attach the oil feed tube (22) on the scavenge oil filter housing assembly with the three bolts (21) and the three washers (20).
(d) Tighten the bolts (21) with your hand.

(e) Install the oil feed tube (22) on the scavenge oil filter housing assembly.

(f) Install new AIPC 79-22-43-80-070 PACKING (4) and AIPC 79-22-41-80-250 PACKING (8) on the oil tube (10) (Ref. AMM TASK 70-23-13-911-010).
(g) Lubricate the oil feed tube mating faces on the scavenge oil filter housing assembly and the oil scavenge pump with
(h) Attach the oil tube (10) on the scavenge oil filter housing assembly with the three bolts (9) and the three washers (11).
(i) Tighten the bolts (9) with your hand.
(3) Install the scavenge oil filter assembly on the oil tank
(a) Put the scavenge oil filter housing assembly with the oil feed tube (22) and the oil tube (10) in position on the oil tank.
(b) Align and engage the flange of the oil feed tube (22) with the flange on the oil tank.
(c) Install the bracket (2), the washer (23) and the three bolts (1).
(d) Tighten the bolts (1) with your hand.
(e) Align and engage the flange of the oil tube (10) with the flange on the oil scavenge pump (7).
(f) Install the washer (6) and the bolts (5).
(g) Tighten the bolts (5) with your hand.
(h) Install the three washers (14) and the three bolts (13).
(i) TORQUE the bolts (13) to between 95 and 85 lbf.in (1.07 and 0.96 m.daN )
(Ref. AMM TASK 70-23-11-911-013). (j) TORQUE the bolts (1), (5), (9) and (21) to between 95 and 85 lbf.in (1.07 and 0.96 m.daN )
(Ref. AMM TASK 70-23-11-911-013). B. Installation of the Magnetic Chip Detector and the Scavenge Oil Filter Element:
(1) Connect the oil tubes:
(a) Connect the oil tubes (16) and (17).
(b) TORQUE the tube connector to between 177 and 159 lbf.in (2.00 and 1.80 m.daN )
(Ref. AMM TASK 70-23-11-911-013).
(c) Safety the tube connectors with lockwire (Material No.V02-126) (Ref. AMM TASK 70-40-11-911-014).
(2) Install the magnetic chip detector housing (Ref. AMM TASK 79-22-45-400-010).
(3) Install the oil temperature sensor (Ref. AMM TASK 79-32-16-400-010).
(4) Install the scavenge oil filter element (Ref. AMM TASK 79-22-44-400-010).
Subtask 79-22-43-612-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL 5. Close-up(1) Connect the oil tubes:
(a) Connect the oil tubes (16) and (17).
(b) TORQUE the tube connector to between 177 and 159 lbf.in (2.00 and 1.80 m.daN )
(Ref. AMM TASK 70-23-11-911-013). (c) Safety the tube connectors with lockwire (Material No.V02-126) (Ref. AMM TASK 70-40-11-911-014).
(2) Install the magnetic chip detector housing (Ref. AMM TASK 79-22-45-400-010).
(3) Install the oil temperature sensor (Ref. AMM TASK 79-32-16-400-010).
(4) Install the scavenge oil filter element (Ref. AMM TASK 79-22-44-400-010).
NOTE: Install a new filter element (Ref. AMM TASK 79-22-44-400-010). Scavenge oil filter housing assemblies are delivered without filter element.

A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Close the fan cowls (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-410-010)

(3) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
