A. General
(1) The primary use of a locking device is to work against the force that causes two parts to become loose.It does not help to keep the necessary torque values. Because the effect of such a device is directly related to safety,it must always be correctly applied.

(c) Lockwire (Ref. AMM TASK 70-40-11-911-012)
