Subtask 78-37-51-860-058-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU, make sure that a WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to start the engine.
(2) On the overhead maintenance panel 50VU, make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off. Make sure that a WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).
(3) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 1M(3 FT) is in position.
Subtask 78-37-51-010-092-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU, make sure that a WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to start the engine.

D. Make sure that the Hydraulic Reservoirs are Depressurized
(1) For engine 1 depressurize the green hydraulic reservoir (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-001).
(2) For engine 2 depressurize the yellow hydraulic reservoir (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-001).
4. Procedure(1) For engine 1 depressurize the green hydraulic reservoir (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-001).
(2) For engine 2 depressurize the yellow hydraulic reservoir (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-001).
Subtask 78-37-51-420-063-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Installation of the Thrust Reverser Hydraulic Valve Filter
(1) Hold the filter bowl (10) with the open end pointing up.
(2) Lubricate a new AIPC 78-37-51-81-090 O-RING (6) with Phosphate Ester Hydraulic Fluid-General Power - - (Material No.02ABA1) or Phosphate Ester Hydraulic Fluid-General Power - - (Material No.02ABA1) and install onto DPI body (5) using EXTRACTION TOOL - SEAL and replacement tool.
(3) Install the disc spring (11) in the filter bowl (10).
(5) Install back-up ring (12), O-ring (13), onto filter bowl (10) as shown in figure.
(6) Insert C-ring (4) into filter head (1) groove.
(7) Lubricate seals with Phosphate Ester Hydraulic Fluid-General Power - - (Material No.02ABA1) , then screw filter bowl (10) as assembled, into filter head (1). Make sure the filter element (2) engages with the shut off valve (3) correctly.
(8) TORQUE assembly together to between 85 and 75 lbf.ft (11.52 and 10.17 m.daN )

(9) Assemble fire blanket (7) and (8) onto the filter bowl (10) and secure by wire locking (9).
Subtask 78-37-51-865-071-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Hold the filter bowl (10) with the open end pointing up.
(2) Lubricate a new AIPC 78-37-51-81-090 O-RING (6) with Phosphate Ester Hydraulic Fluid-General Power - - (Material No.02ABA1) or Phosphate Ester Hydraulic Fluid-General Power - - (Material No.02ABA1) and install onto DPI body (5) using EXTRACTION TOOL - SEAL and replacement tool.
(3) Install the disc spring (11) in the filter bowl (10).
NOTE: The large diameter of the disc spring (11) facing the bottom of the bowl.
(4) Slide AIPC 78-37-51-81-030 FILTER ELEMENT (2) into filter bowl (10). Make sure full engagement of the filter element (2) by pushing firmly into place. (5) Install back-up ring (12), O-ring (13), onto filter bowl (10) as shown in figure.
(6) Insert C-ring (4) into filter head (1) groove.
(7) Lubricate seals with Phosphate Ester Hydraulic Fluid-General Power - - (Material No.02ABA1) , then screw filter bowl (10) as assembled, into filter head (1). Make sure the filter element (2) engages with the shut off valve (3) correctly.
(8) TORQUE assembly together to between 85 and 75 lbf.ft (11.52 and 10.17 m.daN )
. (9) Assemble fire blanket (7) and (8) onto the filter bowl (10) and secure by wire locking (9).
B. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):

C. Pressurization of the Hydraulic Reservoir
(1) For engine 1 pressurize the green hydraulic reservoir (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-002).
(2) For engine 2 pressurize the yellow hydraulic reservoir (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-002).
(3) Make sure that there are no leaks at the tube connections.
Subtask 78-37-51-710-057-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) For engine 1 pressurize the green hydraulic reservoir (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-002).
(2) For engine 2 pressurize the yellow hydraulic reservoir (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-002).
(3) Make sure that there are no leaks at the tube connections.
D. Test and Bleed Procedure
(1) Operate the thrust reverser for ten deploy-to-stow cycles (Ref. AMM TASK 78-31-00-710-041) and check on CFDS that no messages related to the hydraulic filter is present.
(2) Make sure that there are no leaks at the tube connections.
5. Close-up(1) Operate the thrust reverser for ten deploy-to-stow cycles (Ref. AMM TASK 78-31-00-710-041) and check on CFDS that no messages related to the hydraulic filter is present.

Subtask 78-37-51-410-072-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Close the fan cowl doors (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-410-010):
(a) FOR [1000EM1] (ENGINE-1)

(b) FOR [1000EM2] (ENGINE-2)
447AL 448AR.
(3) Remove the access platform(s).
(4) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Close the fan cowl doors (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-410-010):
(a) FOR [1000EM1] (ENGINE-1)

(b) FOR [1000EM2] (ENGINE-2)
447AL 448AR.
(3) Remove the access platform(s).
(4) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
