Subtask 78-31-00-710-067-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Start the engine 1(2) and let it become stable at ground idle (Ref. AMM TASK 71-00-00-710-043).
Subtask 78-31-00-860-066-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
B. Do the EIS start procedure (upper ECAM display unit only) (Ref. AMM TASK 31-60-00-860-001).
4. Procedure
Subtask 78-31-00-710-068-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Do this test:
ACTION
RESULT
1.Set the thrust reverser control level of the engine 1(2) to the reverse idle position.
On the upper ECAM display unit:
  • The amber REV indication comes into view in the EPR indication of the engine 1(2) during the deployment.
  • The REV indication changes to green when the sleeves are deployed and locked.
2.Set the throttle control level of the engine 1(2) to the idle stop position (the zero mark on the graduated scale).
On the upper ECAM display unit:
  • The REV indication in the EPR indication of the engine 1(2) changes to amber during the stowage of the sleeves.
  • The REV indication goes out of view when the thrust reversers are stowed and locked.
5. Close-up
Subtask 78-31-00-710-069-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Stop down the engine (Ref. AMM TASK 71-00-00-710-018).
Subtask 78-31-00-869-054-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
B. Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.
   (1) Do the EIS stop procedure
(Ref. AMM TASK 31-60-00-860-002).
Subtask 78-31-00-210-054-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
C. Inspect Turbine Exhaust Case for Oil
   (1) Visually inspect the turbine exhaust case for signs of oil having exited the No.4 bearing weep tube port (Ref. AMM TASK 72-50-00-200-010).
   (2) If oil is found, do a high turbine dry-out (Ref. AMM TASK 71-00-00-700-013).
