   (1) Make sure that the fan cowl doors are open (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-010-802):
     (a) FOR [4020KM1] (POWER PLANT-DEMOUNTABLE, ENG 1)

   (2) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 1M (3 FT)-ADJUSTABLE is in position.

C. Deactivation of the Thrust Reverser System for Maintenance
WARNING: YOU MUST DEACTIVATE THE THRUST REVERSER BEFORE YOU DO WORK ON OR AROUND IT. IF YOU DO NOT, THE THRUST REVERSER CAN OPERATE ACCIDENTALLY AND CAUSE AN INJURY AND/OR DAMAGE.
   (1) Make sure that you did the deactivation of the thrust reverser system for maintenance (Ref. AMM TASK 78-30-00-040-805).

   (1) Make sure that the left thrust reverser cowl-door are open (Ref. AMM TASK 78-36-00-010-802):

4. Procedure
Subtask 78-32-46-420-057-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Installation of the Pressure Relief Door Shock Bushings
CAUTION: WIPE CLEAN ALL PARTS AND TOOLS AS NECESSARY TO REMOVE UNWANTED DEBRIS AND PREVENT DAMAGE TO THE ENGINE.
   (1) Removal of the protection covers
CAUTION: REMOVE THE PROTECTION COVERS FROM THE OPENINGS AS NECESSARY TO PREVENT ENGINE DAMAGE.
     (a) Make sure that you remove all the necessary COVER - PROTECTION to prevent damage to the engine.
   (2) Install the pressure relief door shock bushings (3).
CAUTION: IF THE PRESSURE RELIEF DOOR WAS OPENED BECAUSE OF A BURST-DUCT EVENT, YOU MUST REPLACE THE BUSHINGS. IF YOU DO NOT OBEY THIS INSTRUCTION, DAMAGE TO THE PRESSURE RELIEF DOOR CAN OCCUR AT NEXT EVENT.
CAUTION: DO NOT OPEN THE PRESSURE RELIEF DOOR MORE THAN 23 DEGREES. IF YOU OPEN THE PRESSURE RELIEF DOOR MORE THAN 23 DEGREES, THE SHOCK BUSHINGS CAN HIT THE PRESSURE-RELIEF DOOR CLEVIS AND BECOME DAMAGED.
     (a) Install the bolt (1), two washers (2), two washers (4), two new bushings (3) and nut (5) on the upper pressure relief door hinge.
     (b) Install the bolt (1), two washers (2), two washers (4), two new bushings (3) and nut (5) on the lower pressure relief door hinge.
     (c) TORQUE the nuts (5) to between 70 and 60 lbf.in (0.79 and 0.68 m.daN ) T.
     (d) Push the pressure relief door retention spring down and close the pressure relief door.

B. Do the reactivation of the thrust reverser system after maintenance (Ref. AMM TASK 78-30-00-440-805).
