     (d) If you find damaged or missing sealant, replace sealant as follows:
1 Remove sealant from the mating surface of the latch beam with the SCRAPER - NON METALLIC.
2 Clean the mating surfaces with a clean cloth (Material No.PU1-0001) and the PU2-0001alcohol, isopropyl.
3 Remove the PU2-0001alcohol, isopropyl with a clean cloth (Material No.PU1-0001) before it becomes dry.
CAUTION: MAKE SURE THAT THE RELEASE AGENT DOES NOT GET ON OTHER AREAS OF THE THRUST REVERSER DOOR. APPLY THE RELEASE AGENT AWAY FROM THE DOOR OR PUT MASKING TAPE ON THE ADJACENT AREAS. IF YOU DO NOT OBEY THESE INSTRUCTIONS, DAMAGE TO THE OTHER SURFACES CAN OCCUR.
4 Apply two layers of the release agent (Material No.PU5-0004) or alternate PU5-0004A release agent or alternate release agent (Material No.PU5-0004B) to the mating surfaces of the track lock cover (1). Refer to the instructions of the manufacturer.
5 Apply two layers of the release agent (Material No.PU5-0004) or alternate to the shanks of the four bolts (2). Refer to the instructions of the manufacturer.
6 Let the release agent (Material No.PU5-0004) or alternate fully dry. Refer to the instructions of the manufacturer.
7 Apply a layer of the sealant (Material No.PU3-0002) to the mating surfaces of the latch beam:
a Make the layer between 0.020 in. (0.508 mm) and 0.030 in. (0.762 mm) thick.
b Make sure that sealant does not block the fastener holes for the track lock cover (1).
8 Install the track lock cover (1) with the four bolts (2).
       9 TORQUE the bolts (2) to between 25 and 20 lbf.in (0.28 and 0.23 m.daN ) T.
10 Remove the unwanted sealant with a clean cloth (Material No.
PU1-0001) and the PU2-0001alcohol, isopropyl.
a Do not clean sealant or mold release agent from below the track lock cover (1).
