3. Job Set-up
Subtask 78-31-42-860-051-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU, make sure that a WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to start the engine.
   (2) On the overhead maintenance panel 50VU, make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off. Make sure that a WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).
   (3) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 1M(3 FT) is in position.

B. Get Access
   (1) Make sure that the fan cowl doors are open: (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-010-040)

C. Make sure that the thrust reverser is unserviceable (Ref. AMM TASK 78-30-00-481-041).
4. Procedure
Subtask 78-31-42-420-051-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Installation of the Right Electrical Harness
NOTE: Apply a witness line of finish paint EA4 blue 5991 (Material No.CP2245) on all nuts and connections after they are torqued.
   (1) Remove the protective covers from the electrical connectors.
   (2) Position the electrical harness on the engine.
   (3) Connect the electrical connectors to the stow-switches of the upper and lower blocker doors. Tighten the connectors with the PLIERS - NOSE, SOFT, LONG.
   (4) Connect the electrical connector to the beam electrical harness. Tighten the connectors with the softnose pliers.
   (5) Connect the electrical connector to the electrical junction box.
   (6) Attach the electrical harness to the supports with the clamps, the bolts and the nuts.
   (7) Attach the two half clamps to the electrical harness with the clamp, the bolt, the washer and the nut.
   (8) Adjust if necessary:
CAUTION: MAKE SURE THERE IS CLEARANCE BETWEEN THE ELECTRICAL HARNESS AND THE FORWARD FRAME PARTS OR DAMAGE CAN OCCUR.
     (a) Adjust the electrical harness and clamps as necessary to get clearance between the harness and the frame.
   (9) TORQUE the nut of the two half clamps to between 30 and 27 lbf.in (0.34 and 0.31 m.daN ) T.
   (10) TORQUE the other bolts and nuts to between 40 and 30 lbf.in (0.45 and 0.34 m.daN )

   (2) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
