BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU DO WORK ON THE ENGINE PARTS AFTER THE ENGINE SHUTDOWN. USE APPLICABLE THERMAL GLOVES. THE ENGINE PARTS CAN STAY HOT FOR ONE HOUR AFTER SHUTDOWN AND CAN BURN YOU.

A. Safety Precautions
(1) On the center pedestal, on ENG panel 115VU:
(a) Make sure that the ENG/MODE selector switch is in the NORM position.
(b) Make sure that the ENG/MASTER 1(2) control switch was in the OFF position not less than five minutes before you do this procedure.
(c) Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) are in position to tell persons not to operate:
(a) Make sure that the ON legend of the FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off.
(b) Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to energize FADEC 1(2).
Subtask 75-24-05-865-051-A (1) On the center pedestal, on ENG panel 115VU:

C. Get Access
(1) Make sure that the fan cowl doors are open (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-010-803):

(2) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 1M(3 FT) is in position.
4. Procedure(1) Make sure that the fan cowl doors are open (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-010-803):

(2) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 1M(3 FT) is in position.
Subtask 75-24-05-420-050-A
A. Installation of the Electronic Engine Control (EEC) Cooling Blower (Lower) (1)
(2) Make sure that the mating surfaces are clean and clear of unwanted materials.
(3) Lubricate the threads of the four captive bolts (9) with the engine oil (Material No.CP2442) .
(4) Install the EEC cooling blower (lower) (1) in the correct position on the mounting bracket (11).
(5) Install the four captive bolts (9) on the mounting bracket (11) and tighten them with your hand.
(6) TORQUE the four captive bolts (9) to between 120.75 and 109.25 lbf.in (1.36 and 1.23 m.daN )

(7) Installation of the EEC cooling duct (out) (4) on the EEC cooling blower (lower) (1):
(a) Lubricate the threads of the screw (7) with the engine oil (Material No.CP2442) .
(b) Connect the EEC cooling duct (out) (4) on the EEC cooling blower (lower) (1).
(c) Install the clip (8) to attach the EEC cooling duct (out) (4) to the EEC cooling blower (lower) (1).
(d) Tighten the screw (7) on the clip (8) by hand.
(e) Torque the screw (7) to between 23.23 and 21.06 lbf.in (0.26 and 0.24 m.daN )
.
(8) Installation of the EEC cooling duct (in) (3) on the EEC cooling blower (lower) (1):
(a) Make sure that the mating surfaces are clean and clear of unwanted materials.
(b) Lubricate the threads of the screw (5) with the engine oil (Material No.CP2442) .
(c) Connect the EEC cooling duct (in) (3) to the EEC cooling blower (lower) (1).
(d) Install the clip (6) to attach the EEC cooling duct (in) (3) to the EEC cooling blower (lower) (1).
(e) Tighten the screw (5) on the clip (6) by hand.
(f) Torque the screw (5) to between 23.23 and 21.06 lbf.in (0.26 and 0.24 m.daN )

(9) Connection of the harness electrical connector (Ref. AMM TASK 70-70-00-910-804):
(10) Install the EEC blower fire shield blanket (10) (Ref. AMM TASK 75-24-05-400-803).
5. Close-upWARNING:
USE PERSONAL PROTECTION EQUIPMENT. USE THE ENGINE OIL IN A WELL-VENTILATED AREA. ENGINE OIL IS TOXIC.
(1) Remove all COVER - PROTECTION and CAP - PROTECTION from the openings, tubes, hoses and connectors. (2) Make sure that the mating surfaces are clean and clear of unwanted materials.
(3) Lubricate the threads of the four captive bolts (9) with the engine oil (Material No.CP2442) .
(4) Install the EEC cooling blower (lower) (1) in the correct position on the mounting bracket (11).
(5) Install the four captive bolts (9) on the mounting bracket (11) and tighten them with your hand.
(6) TORQUE the four captive bolts (9) to between 120.75 and 109.25 lbf.in (1.36 and 1.23 m.daN )
. (7) Installation of the EEC cooling duct (out) (4) on the EEC cooling blower (lower) (1):
(a) Lubricate the threads of the screw (7) with the engine oil (Material No.CP2442) .
(b) Connect the EEC cooling duct (out) (4) on the EEC cooling blower (lower) (1).
(c) Install the clip (8) to attach the EEC cooling duct (out) (4) to the EEC cooling blower (lower) (1).
(d) Tighten the screw (7) on the clip (8) by hand.
(e) Torque the screw (7) to between 23.23 and 21.06 lbf.in (0.26 and 0.24 m.daN )
. (8) Installation of the EEC cooling duct (in) (3) on the EEC cooling blower (lower) (1):
(a) Make sure that the mating surfaces are clean and clear of unwanted materials.
(b) Lubricate the threads of the screw (5) with the engine oil (Material No.CP2442) .
(c) Connect the EEC cooling duct (in) (3) to the EEC cooling blower (lower) (1).
(d) Install the clip (6) to attach the EEC cooling duct (in) (3) to the EEC cooling blower (lower) (1).
(e) Tighten the screw (5) on the clip (6) by hand.
(f) Torque the screw (5) to between 23.23 and 21.06 lbf.in (0.26 and 0.24 m.daN )
. (9) Connection of the harness electrical connector (Ref. AMM TASK 70-70-00-910-804):
CAUTION:
MAKE SURE THAT THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS ARE CLEAN BEFORE YOU DISCONNECT OR CONNECT THEM. CONTAMINATION ON THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(a) Connect the HJ2A harness electrical connector (2) to the EEC cooling blower (lower) (1). (10) Install the EEC blower fire shield blanket (10) (Ref. AMM TASK 75-24-05-400-803).

A. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):

C. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Close the fan cowl doors (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-410-803):

(3) Remove the access platform(s).
(4) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Close the fan cowl doors (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-410-803):
