C. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) On the maintenance panel 50VU:

Release the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch. The ON legend of this pushbutton switch is on.

(2) On the left or right MCDU, get the SYSTEM REPORT/TEST ENG menu page

4. Procedure
Subtask 74-00-00-710-055-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

WARNING: BEFORE YOU PUSH THE MAN START PUSHBUTTON SWITCH, MAKE SURE THAT, ON THE ECAM DISPLAY UNIT, THE PRESSURE AT THE STARTER VALVE INLET IS ZERO PSI. IF THE PRESSURE IS NOT ZERO PSI, THE ENGINE CAN ROTATE AND CAUSE INJURY.

A. Do this test :

NOTE: This test is for the system 1. For the other system(s), use the indications between the parentheses.

ACTION	RESULT
1.On the MCDU:
-Push the line key adjacent to the FADEC 1A(2A) indication.	-The ENGINE 1(2) MAIN MENU page comes into view.
2.Push the line key adjacent to the IGN TEST indication.	-The IGNITION TEST menu comes into view. NOTE: When the menu tells you to put the MODE/CRANK/NORM/IGN START selector switch to AUTO, put it to the NORM position.
3.On the ENG panel 115VU:
-make sure that the ENG/MODE selector switch is in the NORM position.
4.Set the ENG/MASTER 1(2) control switch to ON.
5.Push the line key adjacent to the PUSH BUTTON TO START THE TEST indication.	IGN TEST STARTED comes into view.
	IGN1 ON comes into view for 10 seconds. Make sure that the igniter plug 1 of the engine 1(2) makes a noise at the same time.
	IGN1 OFF comes into view. The noise of the igniter plug 1 stops.
	IGN2 ON comes into view for 10 seconds. Make sure that the igniter plug 2 of the engine 1(2) makes a noise at the same time.
	IGN2 OFF comes into view. The noise of the igniter plug 2 stops.
	IGN TEST COMPLETE comes into view.
6.Set the ENG/MASTER 1(2) control switch to OFF.
7.Do the procedure again for the channel B of the FADEC 1(2).
8.On the MCDU, push the line select key adjacent to the RETURN indication until the CFDS menu page comes into view.
9.Stop the MCDU.

A. Do this test :

NOTE: This test is for the system 1. For the other system(s), use the indications between the parentheses.

1.On the MCDU:

2.Push the line key adjacent to the IGN TEST indication.	The IGNITION TEST menu comes into view.

3.On the ENG panel 115VU:
Make sure that the ENG/MODE/CRANK/NORM/IGN START selector switch is in the NORM position.
4.Set the ENG/MASTER 1(2) control switch to ON.
5.Push the line key adjacent to the PUSH BUTTON TO START TEST indication. Ignition System Test ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL	The WARNING TEST ACTIVE indication comes into view Ignition System Test ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
	IGNITER 1 AND 2 WILL CYCLE ONCE FOR 10 SECS indication comes into view. Make sure that: the igniter 1 of the engine 1(2) makes noise for 10 seconds after approximately 2 seconds the igniter 2 of the engine 1(2) makes noise for 10 seconds.
	IGN TEST COMPLETE comes into view when the test is finished Ignition System Test ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
6.Set the ENG/MASTER 1(2) control switch to OFF.
7.Push the line key adjacent to the RETURN indication.	The ENGINE menu comes into view.
8.Do the procedure again for the channel B of the FADEC 1(2).
9.On the MCDU, push the line select key adjacent to the RETURN indication until the CFDS menu page comes into view.
10.Stop the MCDU.
