(1) On the left or right MCDU, get the SYSTEM REPORT/TEST ENG page (Ref. AMM TASK 31-32-00-860-012).

A. DISCRETE INPUTS (DSI)

NOTE: The current status of each DSI is updated every five seconds.

ACTION	RESULT
1.Push the line key adjacent to the EIU1(EIU2) indication on the MCDU.	The EIU1(EIU2) menu comes into view.
2.Push the line key adjacent to the TEST indication.	On the MENU page, the TEST menu comes into view.
3.Push the line key adjacent to the SPECIFIC DATA indication.	On the MENU page, the SPECIFIC DATA menu comes into view.
4.Push the line key adjacent to the DISCRETE INPUTS indication.	The DISCRETE INPUTS menu comes into view. NOTE: When the DSI is connected to an electrical ground circuit, then the status displayed shall be 1 (= True state). When the DSI is connected to an electrical open circuit, then the status displayed shall be 0 (= False state). When the DSI is failed, then the status displayed shall be a dash (-).
5.On the MCDU control panel, push the NEXT PAGE key.	The other pages come into view.
6.On the MCDU, push the line key adjacent to the RETURN indication until the CFDS menu page comes into view.
7.Stop the MCDU.
