C. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) On the ENG section of maintenance panel 50VU:
     (a) Lift the guard and push the FADEC GND PWR 1(2) pushbutton switch (the ON legend comes on).
NOTE: After the FADEC is energized, wait ten seconds before you start the test. If you do not wait ten seconds, the interactive mode will stop the EEC self-test and this can cause a spurious fault.

A. Operational Test of the EIU
   (1) Do this test.
NOTE: This test is for system 1. For system 2, use the indication between parentheses.
   (2) On the left or right MCDU, get the SYSTEM REPORT/TEST ENG page (Ref. AMM TASK 31-32-00-860-012).
ACTION
RESULT
1.Push the line key adjacent to the EIU1(EIU2) indication.
  • The EIU1(EIU2) menu comes into view.
2.Push the line key adjacent to the TESTS indication.
  • On the MENU page, the TEST menu comes into view.
3.Push the line key adjacent to the SYSTEM TEST indication.
  • The TEST IN PROGRESS page comes into view.
    After five seconds:
  • If there is no failure, the NO FAULT DETECTED page comes into view.
  • If there are failures, the first page of test failures comes into view.
4.Push the line key adjacent to the RETURN indication until the CFDS menu comes into view.
  • The CFDS menu comes into view.
5.Stop the MCDU.

A. Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.
   (1) On the ENG section of maintenance panel 50VU:
     (a) Lift the guard push then release the FADEC GND PWR 1(2) pushbutton switch (the ON legend goes off).

B. De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-862-002).
