A. Safety Precautions
   (1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU:
     (a) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to start the engine.
   (2) Make sure that the engine 1(2) shutdown occurred not less than 5 minutes before you do this procedure.
   (3) On the overhead maintenance panel 50VU:
     (a) Make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off.
     (b) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).

B. Energize the aircraft electrical circuits (Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).

4. Procedure
Subtask 73-11-60-020-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Removal of the IDG Oil Cooler
   (1) Put a CONTAINER 20L (5 USGAL) under the IDG Oil Cooler to drain the remaining oil.
   (2) Remove the hydraulic pump from the accessory gearbox (Ref. AMM TASK 29-11-51-000-040) and (Ref. AMM TASK 29-13-51-000-003).
   (3) Remove drain plug (30), and let the oil drain.
F IDG Oil Cooler ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
   (4) Remove and discard O-ring (20) from drain plug.
   (5) Disconnect the IDG oil supply and return tubes from IDG oil cooler "IN" and "OUT" ports.
   (6) Remove the 4 bolts securing the fuel supply tube to the flange of IDG oil cooler port. Remove and retain gasket.
   (7) Remove the 4 bolts securing the fuel return tube to the flange of IDG oil cooler port. Remove and retain gasket.
   (8) Remove the 4 bolts (10) and (40) from which attach the IDG oil cooler to brackets.

   (9) Remove the threaded plates (60) from the rear bracket, detail D.

   (10) Remove the oil cooler.
   (11) Put the PLUG-BLANKING in each disconnected line end.
   (12) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
   (13) Remove the container.
