B. Get Access
(1) Make sure that the fan cowl doors are open (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-010-802):

C. Deactivation of the Thrust Reverser System for Maintenance
Subtask 72-21-05-010-057-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL WARNING:
YOU MUST DEACTIVATE THE THRUST REVERSER BEFORE YOU DO WORK ON OR AROUND IT. IF YOU DO NOT, THE THRUST REVERSER CAN OPERATE ACCIDENTALLY AND CAUSE AN INJURY AND/OR DAMAGE.
(1) Make sure that you did the deactivation of the thrust reverser system for maintenance (Ref. AMM TASK 78-30-00-040-805). D. Get Access
(1) Make sure that the thrust reverser cowl-doors are open (Ref. AMM TASK 78-36-00-010-802):

4. Procedure(1) Make sure that the thrust reverser cowl-doors are open (Ref. AMM TASK 78-36-00-010-802):

CAUTION:
REMOVE AND INSTALL PROTECTION COVERS AS NECESSARY TO PREVENT DAMAGE TO THE ENGINE AND ADJACENT COMPONENTS.
CAUTION:
WIPE CLEAN ALL PARTS AND TOOLS AS NECESSARY TO REMOVE UNWANTED DEBRIS AND PREVENT DAMAGE TO THE ENGINE.
Subtask 72-21-05-420-051-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL A. Installation of the Fan Exit Structural Guide Vane (SGV) Outer Liner Segment
(1) Install the outer SGV liner segment (3) to the outer support of the structural guide vane as follows:
(a) Make sure that you prepare the correct type of outer SGV liner segment (3) for the location
(c) Lubricate the bolts (1) with Antigalling Compound (Material No.P06-054) .
(d) Install the outer SGV liner segment (3) with the two bolts (1) and washers (2) to the outer support of the structural guide vane fingertight.
(e) Make sure that the rubber seals of the outer SGV liner segment (3) do not make an overlap to other outer SGV liner segment
(f) TORQUE the bolts (1) to between 27 and 24 lbf.in (0.31 and 0.27 m.daN )

(2) Examine the assembly for foreign objects, damage, and correct assembly.
5. Close-up(1) Install the outer SGV liner segment (3) to the outer support of the structural guide vane as follows:
(a) Make sure that you prepare the correct type of outer SGV liner segment (3) for the location
NOTE: There are 13 deferent types of outer SGV liner segment (3).
(b) Put the outer SGV liner segment (3) to the location. (c) Lubricate the bolts (1) with Antigalling Compound (Material No.P06-054) .
(d) Install the outer SGV liner segment (3) with the two bolts (1) and washers (2) to the outer support of the structural guide vane fingertight.
(e) Make sure that the rubber seals of the outer SGV liner segment (3) do not make an overlap to other outer SGV liner segment
(f) TORQUE the bolts (1) to between 27 and 24 lbf.in (0.31 and 0.27 m.daN )
. NOTE: Do not loosen the bolt
(g) TORQUE the bolts (1) again to between 27 and 24 lbf.in (0.31 and 0.27 m.daN ) 
(2) Examine the assembly for foreign objects, damage, and correct assembly.

A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Close the thrust reverser cowl-doors (Ref. AMM TASK 78-36-00-410-802):
