Subtask 54-57-22-941-100-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Safety Precautions
(1) Make sure that you did the procedure to prevent engine motoring
(Ref. AMM TASK 71-00-00-860-833).
(2) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE is in position:
(a) For the left pylon, at zone 415
(b) For the right pylon, at zone 425.
Subtask 54-57-22-040-088-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Make sure that you did the procedure to prevent engine motoring
(Ref. AMM TASK 71-00-00-860-833).
(2) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE is in position:
(a) For the left pylon, at zone 415
(b) For the right pylon, at zone 425.
B. Deactivation of the Thrust Reverser
Subtask 54-57-22-110-061-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL WARNING:
MAKE SURE THAT THE THRUST REVERSER IS LOCKED. IF NOT, THE THRUST REVERSER CAN OPERATE ACCIDENTALLY AND CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONNEL AND/OR DAMAGE TO THE REVERSER.
(1) Make sure that the thrust reverser is unserviceable for maintenance (Ref. AMM TASK 78-30-00-040-805). C. Preparation for Installation
(1) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
(2) Clean the parts kept from the removed component with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and the Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) , if necessary.
(3) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
4. Procedure(1) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
(2) Clean the parts kept from the removed component with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and the Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) , if necessary.
(3) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
Subtask 54-57-22-420-082-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Installation of the Rear Mount-Fairing Block Fire-Seal
(1) Make sure that the rear mount-fairing block fire-seal (3) is in the correct condition. If it is not in the correct condition, discard it and install a new rear mount-fairing block fire-seal (3).
(2) Put and hold the rear mount-fairing block fire-seal (3) and the bracket (2) in position.
(3) Install the nuts (1).
(4) TORQUE the nuts (1) to between 0.17 and 0.13 m.daN (15.04 and 11.50 lbf.in )

Subtask 54-57-22-420-082-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Make sure that the rear mount-fairing block fire-seal (3) is in the correct condition. If it is not in the correct condition, discard it and install a new rear mount-fairing block fire-seal (3).
(2) Put and hold the rear mount-fairing block fire-seal (3) and the bracket (2) in position.
(3) Install the nuts (1).
(4) TORQUE the nuts (1) to between 0.17 and 0.13 m.daN (15.04 and 11.50 lbf.in )

(1) Make sure that the rear mount-fairing block fire-seal (3) is in the correct condition. If it is not in the correct condition, discard it and install a new rear mount-fairing block AIPC 54-51-86-07-130 FIRE-SEAL (3) or a new rear mount-fairing block AIPC 54-51-86-07-200 FIRE-SEAL (3).
(2) Put and hold the rear mount-fairing block fire-seal (3) and the bracket (2) in position.
(3) Install the nuts (1).
(4) TORQUE the nuts (1) to between 4.7 and 3.7 m.N (41.59 and 32.74 lbf.in )

5. Close-up(1) Make sure that the rear mount-fairing block fire-seal (3) is in the correct condition. If it is not in the correct condition, discard it and install a new rear mount-fairing block AIPC 54-51-86-07-130 FIRE-SEAL (3) or a new rear mount-fairing block AIPC 54-51-86-07-200 FIRE-SEAL (3).
(2) Put and hold the rear mount-fairing block fire-seal (3) and the bracket (2) in position.
(3) Install the nuts (1).
(4) TORQUE the nuts (1) to between 4.7 and 3.7 m.N (41.59 and 32.74 lbf.in )

A. Close Access
(1) Close the rear mount-fairing doors (Ref. AMM TASK 54-56-11-410-801).
(2) Close the thrust reverser cowl-doors (Ref. AMM TASK 78-36-00-410-802):
(a) FOR [4020KM1] (POWER PLANT-DEMOUNTABLE, ENG 1)
(b) FOR [4020KM2] (POWER PLANT-DEMOUNTABLE, ENG 2)
(3) Close the fan cowl doors (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-410-802):
