A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE is in position:
(a) For the left pylon, in zone 410
(b) For the right pylon, in zone 420.
(2) Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) are in position.
4. Procedure(1) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE is in position:
(a) For the left pylon, in zone 410
(b) For the right pylon, in zone 420.
(2) Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) are in position.
Subtask 54-51-29-420-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Installation of the Hoisting Fittings
(1) Put the hoisting fittings (3) in position.
(2) Install the washers (2). Install the AIPC 54-51-29-02-030 NUTS (1) and tighten them manually.
(3) Make sure that the alignment is within 0.3 mm (0.0118 in.). To do this put a BAR DIA 19 MM (3/4 IN)
into the holes of the hoisting fittings.
(4) TORQUE the nuts (1) to between 18 and 15.5 m.daN (132.74 and 114.31 lbf.ft )

(5) Remove the bar.
5. Close-up(1) Put the hoisting fittings (3) in position.
(2) Install the washers (2). Install the AIPC 54-51-29-02-030 NUTS (1) and tighten them manually.
(3) Make sure that the alignment is within 0.3 mm (0.0118 in.). To do this put a BAR DIA 19 MM (3/4 IN)
into the holes of the hoisting fittings.
(4) TORQUE the nuts (1) to between 18 and 15.5 m.daN (132.74 and 114.31 lbf.ft )
. (5) Remove the bar.
Subtask 54-51-29-420-054-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Installation of the Pipes
(1) Remove the blanking plugs from the line ends.
(2) Installation of the drain pipe (13):
(a) Put the drain pipe (13) in position.
(b) At RIB1, connect the drain pipe (13) to the pipe-end fitting (8). Do not torque the pipe-end fitting (8) at this time.
(c) Install the two washers (6) and the two bolts (7). Tighten the two bolts (7).
(d) At RIB4, install a new AIPC 54-51-29-01-100 BUSHING (19).
(e) Install the clamp (16), the washer (18) and the bolt (17). Tighten the bolt (17).
(f) Apply Silicone Adhesive Sealant-General Purpose One part legacy (Material No.06CMD9) on the bolts (7) and (17).
(3) Installation of the drain pipes (5) and (14).
(a) Put the drain pipe (5) in position.
(b) At RIB3, install the casing assy (12), the bonding strip (9), the two washers (11) and the two bolts (10). Tighten the two bolts (10).
(c) At RIB4, install a new AIPC 54-51-29-01-110 BUSHING (19).
(d) Install the clamp (16), the washer (18) and the bolt (17). Tighten the bolt (17).
(e) Apply Silicone Adhesive Sealant-General Purpose One part legacy (Material No.06CMD9) on the bolts (10) and (17).
(f) At RIB7, put the tee (3) in position. Connect the tee (3) to the drain pipes (5) and (15). Do not torque the pipe-end fittings (2) and (4) at this time.
(g) Put the drain pipe (14) in position.
(h) At RIB7, connect the tee (3) to the drain pipe (14). Do not torque the pipe-end fitting (1) at this time.
(4) Install the pressure/suction/case drain/return piping of the green (yellow) hydraulic system (Ref. AMM TASK 29-11-49-400-013) (Ref. AMM TASK 29-13-49-400-013).
(5) TORQUE the pipe-end fittings (8), (4), (1) and (2) to between 3.2 and 2.9 m.daN (23.60 and 21.39 lbf.ft )

Subtask 54-51-29-420-056-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Remove the blanking plugs from the line ends.

(4) Install the pressure/suction/case drain/return piping of the green (yellow) hydraulic system (Ref. AMM TASK 29-11-49-400-013) (Ref. AMM TASK 29-13-49-400-013).
(5) TORQUE the pipe-end fittings (8), (4), (1) and (2) to between 3.2 and 2.9 m.daN (23.60 and 21.39 lbf.ft )
. B. Installation of the Access Panels
(1) Install the lower fairings (Ref. AMM TASK 54-56-00-400-001):
(a) For the left pylon 473AL 473AR
(b) For the right pylon 483AL 483AR.
(2) Install the pylon lateral access-doors (Ref. AMM TASK 54-51-21-400-001):
(a) For the left pylon 415BL 415BR
(b) For the right pylon 425BL 425BR.

(1) Install the power plant (Ref. AMM TASK 71-00-00-400-042).
(2) Install the thrust reverser cowl doors (Ref. AMM TASK 78-32-11-400-002).
(3) Install the fan cowl doors (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-11-400-041).
