A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the access platform and the warning notices are in position
(2) Make the thrust reverser unservicable (Ref. AMM TASK 78-30-00-481-041)

Subtask 54-56-00-420-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Installation of the Center Lower Fairing
(1) Put the centering pins in position and install the center lower fairing (33):
(a) For the left pylon: 473BL
(b) For the right pylon: 483BL
(2) Install the bolts (32), the nuts (31) and tighten them.
Subtask 54-56-00-420-051-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Put the centering pins in position and install the center lower fairing (33):
(a) For the left pylon: 473BL
(b) For the right pylon: 483BL
(2) Install the bolts (32), the nuts (31) and tighten them.
B. Installation of the Aft Lower Fairing
(1) Put the centering pin in position in the rear face of the center fairing and install the aft lower fairing (21):.
(a) For the left pylon: 473CL
(b) For the right pylon: 483CL
Subtask 54-56-00-820-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Put the centering pin in position in the rear face of the center fairing and install the aft lower fairing (21):.
(a) For the left pylon: 473CL
(b) For the right pylon: 483CL
C. Adjustment of the Aft Lower Fairing
(1) Measure the clearances J1 and J2:
(2) Make sure that the clearance J1 is 3.1 +1 mm or -1 mm (0.1220 +0.0394 in. or -0.0394 in.) between the aft fairing and the primary structure and between RIB8 and RIB10.
(a) Make sure that the variable clearance J2 is between 3.1 +1 mm or -1 mm (0.1220 +0.0394 in. or -0.0394 in.) and 8 +1 mm or -1 mm (0.3150 +0.0394 in. or -0.0394 in.) between :
(3) Install the screw supports (13) and the screws (11) with washers (12).
(4) TORQUE the screws (11) to between 1.8 and 1.6 m.daN (13.27 and 11.80 lbf.ft ).
Subtask 54-56-00-420-052-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Measure the clearances J1 and J2:
(2) Make sure that the clearance J1 is 3.1 +1 mm or -1 mm (0.1220 +0.0394 in. or -0.0394 in.) between the aft fairing and the primary structure and between RIB8 and RIB10.
(a) Make sure that the variable clearance J2 is between 3.1 +1 mm or -1 mm (0.1220 +0.0394 in. or -0.0394 in.) and 8 +1 mm or -1 mm (0.3150 +0.0394 in. or -0.0394 in.) between :
- the aft fairing and the secondary structure
- between RIB10 and the aft end of the fairing
- remove the screw (18), the washers (17) and adjust with the shims (19)
- or remove the nut (14) and the bolt (16) and adjust with the shims (15).
NOTE: Install the bolts (16) and the nuts (14) in the fitting for all the adjustement procedures.
(c) Make sure that the thickness of the parts that the screws (11) tighten is be constant in all the adjustment procedures. (3) Install the screw supports (13) and the screws (11) with washers (12).
(4) TORQUE the screws (11) to between 1.8 and 1.6 m.daN (13.27 and 11.80 lbf.ft )
. D. Installation of the Forward Lower Fairing
(1) Put the centering pins in position and install the forwaed lower fairing (3):
(a) For the left pylon: 473AR and 473AL
(b) For the right pylon: 483AR and 483AL.
(2) Install the washers (1), the screws (2) and tighten.
Subtask 54-56-00-220-052-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Put the centering pins in position and install the forwaed lower fairing (3):
(a) For the left pylon: 473AR and 473AL
(b) For the right pylon: 483AR and 483AL.
(2) Install the washers (1), the screws (2) and tighten.
E. Check of Clearance
(1) Measure the out-of-flush clearances A1 and A2 between the primary structure and the fairings and between the forwad lower fairing and the center lower fairing.
(a) A1 = 0 +1 mm or -1 mm (0.0000 +0.0394 in. or -0.0394 in.)
(b) A2 = 0 +1.5 mm or -1.5 mm (0.0000 +0.0591 in. or -0.0591 in.)
5. Close-up(1) Measure the out-of-flush clearances A1 and A2 between the primary structure and the fairings and between the forwad lower fairing and the center lower fairing.
(a) A1 = 0 +1 mm or -1 mm (0.0000 +0.0394 in. or -0.0394 in.)
(b) A2 = 0 +1.5 mm or -1.5 mm (0.0000 +0.0591 in. or -0.0591 in.)

B. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Install the access panels (Ref. AMM TASK 54-53-11-400-002):
(a) For the left pylon: 475AL 476AR
(b) For the right pylon: 485AL 486AR.
(3) Remove the access platform(s).
(4) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
Subtask 54-56-00-410-050-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Install the access panels (Ref. AMM TASK 54-53-11-400-002):
(a) For the left pylon: 475AL 476AR
(b) For the right pylon: 485AL 486AR.
(3) Remove the access platform(s).
(4) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
B. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Install the access panels (Ref. AMM TASK 54-53-11-400-002):
(a) For the left pylon: 475AL 475AR
(b) For the right pylon: 485AL 485AR.
(3) Remove the access platform(s).
(4) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Install the access panels (Ref. AMM TASK 54-53-11-400-002):
(a) For the left pylon: 475AL 475AR
(b) For the right pylon: 485AL 485AR.
(3) Remove the access platform(s).
(4) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
