A. Safety Precautions
(1) Make sure that you did the procedure to prevent engine motoring
(Ref. AMM TASK 71-00-00-860-833).
(2) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE is in position:
(a) For the left pylon, in zone 415
(b) For the right pylon, in zone 425.

B. Deactivation of the Thrust Reverser

WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT THE THRUST REVERSER IS LOCKED. IF NOT, THE THRUST REVERSER CAN OPERATE ACCIDENTALLY AND CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONNEL AND/OR DAMAGE TO THE REVERSER.

(1) Make sure that the thrust reverser is unserviceable for maintenance (Ref. AMM TASK 78-30-00-040-805).

C. Preparation for Installation
(1) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
(2) If they are not sufficiently clean, clean the parts retained from the removed component with Cleaners (Material No. 08BAA9) and Miscellaneous (Material No. 14SBA1).
(3) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.

4. Procedure

A. Installation of the Pylon Lateral Access-Doors

Pylon Lateral Access-Doors ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

(1) Installation of the pylon lateral access-doors 415AL 415AR 425AL and 425AR:
(a) Put the access doors (3) in position.
(b) Install the screws (2) and (1) and tighten them.
(c) Put the access doors (11) in position.
(d) Install the screws (12) and tighten them.
(2) Installation of the pylon lateral access-doors 415BR and 425BR:
(a) Put the access doors (10) in position.
(b) Install the screws (9) and tighten them.
(3) Installation of the pylon lateral access-doors 415BL 415CR 425BL and 425CR:
(a) Put the access doors (5) in position.
(b) Install the screws (4) and tighten them.
(c) Put the access doors (6) in position.
(d) Install the screws (8) and (7) and tighten them.
(e) When you install the screws (4) and (8), do the electrical bonding at the applicable location (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).

A. Installation of the Components
(1) Installation of the Door Fairing Assembly on access doors 415BR and 425BR:

(a) Put the door fairing assembly (18) in position.
(b) Install the screws (19) and (20) and tighten them.

(1) Close the thrust reverser cowl-doors (Ref. AMM TASK 78-36-00-410-802):

D. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Remove the access platform(s).
(3) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
