A. Deactivation of the CDLS Normal System

NOTE: All parts of the CDLS (normal and back-up system, if installed) can be inoperative if the complete system is deactivated in the unlocked position and adjustment is not required by regulations for the intended flight.
NOTE: If CKPT DOOR BKUP panel 45VU is installed on overhead panel 20VU and the switch LKG SYS (21MQ) is in the BKUP position:
- Toggle switch COCKPIT DOOR (26MQ) on center pedestal panel 119VU and keypad 25MQ on the flight attendant panel are inoperative. These cannot be used to unlock and open the cockpit door.
NOTE: If CKPT DOOR BKUP panel 45VU is installed on overhead panel 20VU and the switch LKG SYS (21MQ) is in the BKUP position:
- The cockpit door can be unlocked and opened from the cockpit side only and cannot be unlocked and opened from the cabin side. You must not close the cockpit door when there is no person inside the cockpit.

A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Put the aircraft back to the serviceable condition.
(2) De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits (Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-862-002).
(3) Make an entry in the logbook.
