A. Safety Precautions
(1) De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits (Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-862-002).
(2) Disconnect the electrical connector from the battery.
(3) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
(4) No cleaning solution should be sprayed directly on the electrical connection.
Subtask 51-78-00-010-051-A (1) De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits (Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-862-002).

B. Get Access
(1) Get access to the area of the leakage.
(2) Remove components from the area you will clean to prevent contamination from water and/or cleaning agents.

NOTE: Make sure that all electrical outlets are covered to protect them from water.

A. Cleaning Procedure
(1) Remove the hydraulic fluid with a Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(2) Clean the area with Non Aqueous Cleaner_- Methyl-Ethyl-Ketone - (Material No.08BBF1) and a lint-free cloth.
(3) Apply Cleaner-Hydraulic Spillage Absorbent powder - (Material No.08CKB9) to the area, let it stay on the area for 30 minutes.
(5) Clean the area with the Aqueous Cleaner-Aircraft Exterior Pressure Spraying - (Material No.08ABC1) and a lint-free cloth.
(6) Flush the area with clean water.
(7) Dry the area with a HOT AIR SOURCE.
(8) If necessary, repair corrosion damage (Ref. AMM TASK 51-74-11-300-001).
(9) If necessary, repair the paint layers (Ref. AMM TASK 51-75-12-300-003).
(10) If necessary, repair the filler seals (Ref. AMM TASK 51-76-11-300-001).
(11) If necessary, apply a layer of Corrosion Preventive Compound_Water Displacing Soft Film - (Material No.12ABC1) or Corrosion Preventive Compound-Water Displacing Hard Film - (Material No.12ABB1) or Corrosion Preventive Compound-Heavy Duty Soft Film - (Material No.12ACC1) or Corrosion Preventive Compound-Heavy Duty Hard Film - (Material No.12ACB1) or Corrosion Preventive Compound-Water Displacing & Heavy Duty Hard Film - (Material No.12ADB1) to the area (Ref. AMM TASK 51-75-13-916-001).
(12) If necessary, apply a layer of Corrosion Preventive Compound_Water Displacing Soft Film - (Material No.12ABC1) or Corrosion Preventive Compound-Water Displacing Hard Film - (Material No.12ABB1) or Corrosion Preventive Compound-Heavy Duty Soft Film - (Material No.12ACC1) or Corrosion Preventive Compound-Heavy Duty Hard Film - (Material No.12ACB1) or Corrosion Preventive Compound-Water Displacing & Heavy Duty Hard Film - (Material No.12ADB1) to the area (Ref. AMM TASK 51-75-13-916-002).
5. Close-up(1) Remove the hydraulic fluid with a Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(2) Clean the area with Non Aqueous Cleaner_- Methyl-Ethyl-Ketone - (Material No.08BBF1) and a lint-free cloth.
(3) Apply Cleaner-Hydraulic Spillage Absorbent powder - (Material No.08CKB9) to the area, let it stay on the area for 30 minutes.
NOTE: The Met-L-check developer will stay wet if there is unwanted hydraulic fluid.
(4) If necessary, repeat the procedure until the unwanted hydraulic fluid is removed. (5) Clean the area with the Aqueous Cleaner-Aircraft Exterior Pressure Spraying - (Material No.08ABC1) and a lint-free cloth.
(6) Flush the area with clean water.
(7) Dry the area with a HOT AIR SOURCE.
(8) If necessary, repair corrosion damage (Ref. AMM TASK 51-74-11-300-001).
(9) If necessary, repair the paint layers (Ref. AMM TASK 51-75-12-300-003).
(10) If necessary, repair the filler seals (Ref. AMM TASK 51-76-11-300-001).
(11) If necessary, apply a layer of Corrosion Preventive Compound_Water Displacing Soft Film - (Material No.12ABC1) or Corrosion Preventive Compound-Water Displacing Hard Film - (Material No.12ABB1) or Corrosion Preventive Compound-Heavy Duty Soft Film - (Material No.12ACC1) or Corrosion Preventive Compound-Heavy Duty Hard Film - (Material No.12ACB1) or Corrosion Preventive Compound-Water Displacing & Heavy Duty Hard Film - (Material No.12ADB1) to the area (Ref. AMM TASK 51-75-13-916-001).
(12) If necessary, apply a layer of Corrosion Preventive Compound_Water Displacing Soft Film - (Material No.12ABC1) or Corrosion Preventive Compound-Water Displacing Hard Film - (Material No.12ABB1) or Corrosion Preventive Compound-Heavy Duty Soft Film - (Material No.12ACC1) or Corrosion Preventive Compound-Heavy Duty Hard Film - (Material No.12ACB1) or Corrosion Preventive Compound-Water Displacing & Heavy Duty Hard Film - (Material No.12ADB1) to the area (Ref.
