Subtask 49-51-53-860-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
(2) On overhead panel 25VU, on the APU section, make sure that the APU MASTER SW switch is in the off position (the ON legend is off).
(3) Put the WARNING NOTICE(S) in position in the cockpit to tell persons not to start the APU.
(4) Make sure that the hydraulic systems are depressurized
(Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-864-001).
Subtask 49-51-53-865-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
(2) On overhead panel 25VU, on the APU section, make sure that the APU MASTER SW switch is in the off position (the ON legend is off).
(3) Put the WARNING NOTICE(S) in position in the cockpit to tell persons not to start the APU.
(4) Make sure that the hydraulic systems are depressurized
(Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-864-001).
B. Open, safety and tag this(these) circuit breaker(s):

C. Get Access
(1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE in position below APU access doors 315AL and 316AR.
(2) Open APU access doors 315AL and 316AR (Ref. AMM TASK 52-41-00-010-001).
(3) Set the light switch 11LJ to the ON position.
4. Procedure(1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE in position below APU access doors 315AL and 316AR.
(2) Open APU access doors 315AL and 316AR (Ref. AMM TASK 52-41-00-010-001).
(3) Set the light switch 11LJ to the ON position.
Subtask 49-51-53-020-050-D ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Removal of the Bleed Control Valve
(2) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
(3) Remove the bolt (12) and the clamp (11) that attach the cable harness to the clamp-bracket support assembly (10).
(4) Remove the bolt (15) and the clamp (14) that attach the cable harness to the clamp-bracket support assembly (13).
(5) Remove the bolt (28) and the clamp (27) that attach the cable harness to the bleed control valve (1).
(6) Put the CONTAINER 3 L(3/4 USGAL) below the bleed control valve (1).
(7) Disconnect the two ends of the tubes (25), (26), (4) and (9).
(8) Disconnect the tubes (22), (21), (23) and (24) from the bleed control valve (1).
(9) Remove the V-band clamp (17) from the outlet duct (16).
(10) Remove and discard the packing (18).
(11) Remove the V-band clamp (20) from the ECS duct (19).
(12) Remove the V-band clamp (2) from the exhaust duct (3).
(13) Remove the bleed control valve (1) from the APU.
(14) Remove the filler plug (6) from the bleed control valve (1):
(a) Remove the bolts (8) from the filler plug (6).
(b) Remove the filler plug (6).
(c) Remove and discard the packing (5).
(15) Put the PLUG-BLANKING in each disconnected line end.
(16) Remove the CONTAINER 3 L(3/4 USGAL).
CAUTION:
YOU MUST USE TWO WRENCHES AND HOLD THE COMPONENT WHEN YOU REMOVE/INSTALL THE PIPE COUPLINGS AND/OR UNIONS. THIS PREVENTS DAMAGE TO THE COMPONENT.
CAUTION:
PUT PLASTIC CAPS OR PLUGS ON ALL FUEL AND/OR LUBRICATION SYSTEM COMPONENTS AND LINES. IF YOU USE TAPE, CLOTH, OR METAL CAPS ON THEM, YOU CAN DAMAGE THE APU.
CAUTION:
MAKE SURE THAT THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS ARE CLEAN BEFORE YOU DISCONNECT OR CONNECT THEM. CONTAMINATION ON THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(1) Disconnect electrical connector P33 (7) from the bleed control valve (1). (2) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
(3) Remove the bolt (12) and the clamp (11) that attach the cable harness to the clamp-bracket support assembly (10).
(4) Remove the bolt (15) and the clamp (14) that attach the cable harness to the clamp-bracket support assembly (13).
(5) Remove the bolt (28) and the clamp (27) that attach the cable harness to the bleed control valve (1).
(6) Put the CONTAINER 3 L(3/4 USGAL) below the bleed control valve (1).
(7) Disconnect the two ends of the tubes (25), (26), (4) and (9).
(8) Disconnect the tubes (22), (21), (23) and (24) from the bleed control valve (1).
(9) Remove the V-band clamp (17) from the outlet duct (16).
(10) Remove and discard the packing (18).
(11) Remove the V-band clamp (20) from the ECS duct (19).
(12) Remove the V-band clamp (2) from the exhaust duct (3).
(13) Remove the bleed control valve (1) from the APU.
(14) Remove the filler plug (6) from the bleed control valve (1):
(a) Remove the bolts (8) from the filler plug (6).
(b) Remove the filler plug (6).
(c) Remove and discard the packing (5).
(15) Put the PLUG-BLANKING in each disconnected line end.
(16) Remove the CONTAINER 3 L(3/4 USGAL).
