A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
(2) On the panel 25VU, make sure that the APU MASTER SW pushbutton switch is off.
(3) Put a warning notice in the cockpit to tell persons not to start the APU.
(4) Make sure that the hydraulic systems are depressurized
(Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-864-001).
Subtask 49-31-42-865-055-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
(2) On the panel 25VU, make sure that the APU MASTER SW pushbutton switch is off.
(3) Put a warning notice in the cockpit to tell persons not to start the APU.
(4) Make sure that the hydraulic systems are depressurized
(Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-864-001).
B. Open, safety and tag this(these) circuit breaker(s):

C. Get Access
(1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE below the APU access doors 315AL and 316AR.
(2) Open the APU access doors 315AL 316AR (Ref. AMM TASK 52-41-00-010-001).
(3) Set the LIGHT control switch 11LJ to the on position.
4. Procedure(1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE below the APU access doors 315AL and 316AR.
(2) Open the APU access doors 315AL 316AR (Ref. AMM TASK 52-41-00-010-001).
(3) Set the LIGHT control switch 11LJ to the on position.
Subtask 49-31-42-020-052-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Removal of Nozzles and Manifold.
(1) Put a CONTAINER 10 L(2 1/2 USGAL) into position below the fuel manifold assembly.
(2) Remove the bolt (6) and the nut (8) from the clamp (7).
(3) Repeat step (1) at the three remaining clamp positions.
(4) Disconnect the fuel manifold connector (4) at the nozzle (2).
(5) Repeat step (3) at the five remaining main nozzle positions.
(6) Disconnect the manifold connector (9) at the fuel flow divider and remove the manifold assembly.
(7) Remove the bolts (3) from the nozzle assembly (2).
(8) Remove the nozzles (2) and the gasket (1) from the mount boss (5).
(9) Discard the gasket (1).
(10) Repeat steps (6) thru (8) at the five remaining main nozzle positions.
(11) Install approved blanking caps to all fuel tube ends and openings.
(12) Remove the container.
(1) Put a CONTAINER 10 L(2 1/2 USGAL) into position below the fuel manifold assembly.
(2) Remove the bolt (6) and the nut (8) from the clamp (7).
(3) Repeat step (1) at the three remaining clamp positions.
(4) Disconnect the fuel manifold connector (4) at the nozzle (2).
(5) Repeat step (3) at the five remaining main nozzle positions.
(6) Disconnect the manifold connector (9) at the fuel flow divider and remove the manifold assembly.
(7) Remove the bolts (3) from the nozzle assembly (2).
(8) Remove the nozzles (2) and the gasket (1) from the mount boss (5).
(9) Discard the gasket (1).
(10) Repeat steps (6) thru (8) at the five remaining main nozzle positions.
(11) Install approved blanking caps to all fuel tube ends and openings.
(12) Remove the container.
