A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Put the warning notices on panel 25VU to tell persons not to start the APU.
(2) Energize the ground service network
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-861-001).
(3) Make sure that the hydraulic systems are depressurized (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-001).
Subtask 49-16-41-010-058-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Put the warning notices on panel 25VU to tell persons not to start the APU.
(2) Energize the ground service network
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-861-001).
(3) Make sure that the hydraulic systems are depressurized (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-001).
B. Get Access
(2) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 4M (13 FT)-ADJUSTABLE below the APU access doors 315AL, 316AR and the maintenance door 314AR.
(3) Open access door 314AR and safety it in the open position.
(Ref. AMM TASK 52-41-23-010-801).
(4) Set the LIGHT control switch 3LJ to the ON position.
(5) Open the APU access doors 315AL 316AR (Ref. AMM TASK 52-41-00-010-001).
(6) Set the LIGHT control switch 11LJ to the ON position.
(7) Remove the air intake flap (Ref. AMM TASK 49-16-43-000-002)

BEFORE YOU START WORK, YOU MUST PUT ON A SAFETY HARNESS AND ATTACH IT TO THE ACCESS PLATFORM. WITHOUT A SAFETY HARNESS, YOU CAN FALL. THIS CAN KILL YOU OR CAUSE YOU INJURY.
(1) Put on and attach a safety harness before you start work in the work area(2) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 4M (13 FT)-ADJUSTABLE below the APU access doors 315AL, 316AR and the maintenance door 314AR.
(3) Open access door 314AR and safety it in the open position.
(Ref. AMM TASK 52-41-23-010-801).
(4) Set the LIGHT control switch 3LJ to the ON position.
(5) Open the APU access doors 315AL 316AR (Ref. AMM TASK 52-41-00-010-001).
(6) Set the LIGHT control switch 11LJ to the ON position.
(7) Remove the air intake flap (Ref. AMM TASK 49-16-43-000-002)

A. Removal of the fixed Diverter
(1) Remove the sealant from the screws (1) and washers (2) with a SCRAPER - NON METALLIC.
(2) Remove the screws (1) and the washers (2).
(3) Remove the nuts (5), the washers (6) and the screws (4).
(4) Remove the screws (7) and the washers (8).
(5) Remove the screws (9) and the washers (10), (11).
(6) Remove the sealant around the fixed diverter (12) with a non-metallic scraper.
(7) Remove the fixed diverter (12) and the shim (3).
(1) Remove the sealant from the screws (1) and washers (2) with a SCRAPER - NON METALLIC.
(2) Remove the screws (1) and the washers (2).
(3) Remove the nuts (5), the washers (6) and the screws (4).
(4) Remove the screws (7) and the washers (8).
(5) Remove the screws (9) and the washers (10), (11).
(6) Remove the sealant around the fixed diverter (12) with a non-metallic scraper.
(7) Remove the fixed diverter (12) and the shim (3).
