1. Reason for the JobDo this task only after you did the deactivation procedure of the APU by the APU substitution kit (Ref. AMM TASK 49-10-00-040-008-A01).

Subtask 49-11-00-860-065-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Energize the ground service network
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-861-001).
(2) On the panel 25VU make sure that the APU MASTER SW pushbutton switch is off.
(3) Make sure that the hydraulic systems are depressurized
(Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-864-001).
(4) Make sure that the APU air intake is closed.
(5) Make sure that the APU LP fuel valve is closed.
Subtask 49-11-00-010-060-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Energize the ground service network
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-861-001).
(2) On the panel 25VU make sure that the APU MASTER SW pushbutton switch is off.
(3) Make sure that the hydraulic systems are depressurized
(Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-864-001).
(4) Make sure that the APU air intake is closed.
(5) Make sure that the APU LP fuel valve is closed.
B. Get Access
(1) Make sure that the access platform is in position below the APU compartment.
(2) Make sure that the APU access doors are open (Ref. AMM TASK 52-41-00-010-001).
(3) Make sure that the APU exhaust access fairing 317 is open.
(4) Make sure that the LIGHT control SW 11LJ is set to the ON position.
Subtask 49-11-00-865-064-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Make sure that the access platform is in position below the APU compartment.
(2) Make sure that the APU access doors are open (Ref. AMM TASK 52-41-00-010-001).
(3) Make sure that the APU exhaust access fairing 317 is open.
(4) Make sure that the LIGHT control SW 11LJ is set to the ON position.

Subtask 49-11-00-420-058-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Installation of the APU Substitution Kit
(1) Install the AIPC 49-11-04-10-010 TRANSVERSE SUPPORT (3) (Ref. AIPC 49-11-04-10-010) from the APU substitution kit to the left and right APU mount assemblies with washers (2) and nuts (1).
(2) Install the AIPC 49-11-04-05-010 CABLE MOUNT ASSEMBLY (10) on the transverse support (3) with the bolts (6), the washers (5) and the nuts (4).
(3) Connect the starter cables (20) to the transverse support (3) with the nuts (21) and the washers (22).
(4) Connect the generator cables (7) to the cable mount assembly (10) with the nuts (9) and the washers (8).
(5) Connect the generator control cable (40) to the dummy plug on the cable mount assembly (10).
(6) Install the CAP - BLANKING (19) on the connector sockets 7120VC, 7118VC and 7138VC, which are on the forward bulkhead FR80.
(7) Install the rear suspension assembly (18) with the nut (13) to the aft mount assembly (11).
(8) Install and support the rear suspension assembly (18) with the bolt (14), the washers (16) and the nut (17) to the top bracket (15).
(9) Disconnect the vent and drain valve tee (39) from the APU fuel feed pipe (29).
(10) Before installing the blanking plug (28) to the APU fuel feed pipe (29), apply Dry lubricant-General Assembly - - (Material No.03QBA1) to the internal threads.
(11) Install the PLUG - BLANKING (28) to the APU fuel feed pipe (29).

(13) Install the blanking plugs (38) on the APU access door 316AR drain interfaces.
(14) Install the exhaust muffler plug (32) to the APU exhaust outlet (33).
(15) Install the blanking plug (27) to the exhaust muffler drain (30).
(16) Install the bleed-air duct plug (35) to the bleed air duct (24) with the tie-rods (23), the bolts (34), the washers (36) and the nuts (37).
(17) Install the oil-cooler outlet-duct plug (31) on door 315AL with the screws (26) and the washers (25).
5. Close-up(1) Install the AIPC 49-11-04-10-010 TRANSVERSE SUPPORT (3) (Ref. AIPC 49-11-04-10-010) from the APU substitution kit to the left and right APU mount assemblies with washers (2) and nuts (1).
(2) Install the AIPC 49-11-04-05-010 CABLE MOUNT ASSEMBLY (10) on the transverse support (3) with the bolts (6), the washers (5) and the nuts (4).
(3) Connect the starter cables (20) to the transverse support (3) with the nuts (21) and the washers (22).
(4) Connect the generator cables (7) to the cable mount assembly (10) with the nuts (9) and the washers (8).
(5) Connect the generator control cable (40) to the dummy plug on the cable mount assembly (10).
(6) Install the CAP - BLANKING (19) on the connector sockets 7120VC, 7118VC and 7138VC, which are on the forward bulkhead FR80.
(7) Install the rear suspension assembly (18) with the nut (13) to the aft mount assembly (11).
(8) Install and support the rear suspension assembly (18) with the bolt (14), the washers (16) and the nut (17) to the top bracket (15).

(10) Before installing the blanking plug (28) to the APU fuel feed pipe (29), apply Dry lubricant-General Assembly - - (Material No.03QBA1) to the internal threads.
(11) Install the PLUG - BLANKING (28) to the APU fuel feed pipe (29).
WARNING:
USE PROTECTIVE GOGGLES AND GLOVES WHEN YOU REMOVE OR INSTALL LOCKWIRE. EACH TIME YOU CUT LOCKWIRE, REMOVE AND DISCARD IT IMMEDIATELY. LOOSE LOCKWIRE CAN CUT YOU OR MAKE YOU BLIND, AND/OR CAN CAUSE DAMAGE.
(12) Attach the APU fuel feed pipe (29) to the bracket on the bulkhead with (13) Install the blanking plugs (38) on the APU access door 316AR drain interfaces.
(14) Install the exhaust muffler plug (32) to the APU exhaust outlet (33).
(15) Install the blanking plug (27) to the exhaust muffler drain (30).
(16) Install the bleed-air duct plug (35) to the bleed air duct (24) with the tie-rods (23), the bolts (34), the washers (36) and the nuts (37).
(17) Install the oil-cooler outlet-duct plug (31) on door 315AL with the screws (26) and the washers (25).
Subtask 49-11-00-410-061-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Set the LIGHT control switch 11LJ to the OFF position.
(3) Close APU access doors 315AL 316AR and (Ref. AMM TASK 52-41-00-410-001).
(4) Install the APU exhaust access-fairing (Ref. AMM TASK 52-41-18-400-001).
(5) Remove the access platform(s).
Subtask 49-11-00-865-076-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Set the LIGHT control switch 11LJ to the OFF position.
(3) Close APU access doors 315AL 316AR and (Ref. AMM TASK 52-41-00-410-001).
(4) Install the APU exhaust access-fairing (Ref. AMM TASK 52-41-18-400-001).
(5) Remove the access platform(s).
B. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):

C. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Put the related hydraulic system in the pressurized configuration (Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-864-001).
(2) De-energize the ground service network
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-862-001).
(3) Put a warning notice in the cockpit to tell the persons that the APU is not installed.

NOTE: The circuit breakers 1KD, 2KD, 1QC, 2QC, 3QC, 1QF and 2QF must be opened and tagged and must remain so until the APU is reinstalled.
(4) Make an entry in the aircraft technical log book.
