NOTE: Six procedures are given here that you can use for disinfection of the potable water system.

One procedure uses calcium hypochlorite or sodium hypochlorite for disinfection.
One procedure uses hydrogen peroxide (H202) HERLISIL or H BIO T50 for disinfection.
One procedure uses calcium hypochlorite or sodium hypochlorite and the Dosatron Tool for disinfection.
One procedure uses hydrogen peroxide (H202) HERLISIL or H BIO T50 and the Dosatron Tool for disinfection.
One procedure uses hypochlorite for disinfection and discard of water filter cartridges.
One procedure uses ozone for disinfection.

NOTE: The airline can make the decision about which of the six procedures they will use.

A. Do the Disinfection of the Potable Water System
(1) For the disinfection of the potable water system with calcium hypochlorite or sodium hypochlorite (Ref. AMM TASK 38-10-00-670-003).
(2) For the disinfection of the potable water system with hydrogen peroxide (H202) HERLISIL or H BIO T50 (Ref. AMM TASK 38-10-00-670-004).
(3) For the disinfection of the potable water system with calcium hypochlorite or sodium hypochlorite and the dosatron tool (Ref. AMM TASK 38-10-00-670-005).
(4) For the disinfection of the potable water system with hydrogen peroxide (H202) HERLISIL or H BIO T50 and the dosatron tool (Ref. AMM TASK 38-10-00-670-006).
(5) For the disinfection of the potable water system with hypochlorite and discard of water filter cartridges (Ref. AMM TASK 38-10-00-670-803).
