Subtask 36-22-17-210-050-A
(2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Install the grommet (4) on the sensing element.
(4) Put the sensing element in the correct installation position.
(5) Put the grommet (4) in position on the sensing element.
(6) Install the sensing element with the attached grommet (4) to the clamp (5).
(8) Remove the blanking caps from the electrical connector(s) and the receptacle(s).
(9) Install the socket of the sensing element to the bracket.
(10) Install the bonding jumper to the socket.
(11) Install the retaining nut (1) and TORQUE it to between 0.69 and 0.58 m.daN (61.06 and 51.33 lbf.in )

(12) Safety the retaining nut (1) and the socket with lockwire, corrosion-resistant steel dia. 0.8 mm (0.032 in.) to the bracket.
(13) Install the union nut (2) to the socket and TORQUE it to between 0.69 and 0.58 m.daN (61.06 and 51.33 lbf.in )
.
(14) Safety the union nut (2) with lockwire, corrosion-resistant steel dia 0.8 mm (0.032 in.) to the retaining nut (1).
(15) On the bulkhead remove the blanking caps from the electrical connector(s).
(16) Clean the area with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(17) Make sure that you have a dry surface.
(18) Clean the bulkhead connection (6) with a BRUSH - NON METALLIC.
(19) Put the bulkhead connection (6) in position.
(20) Put the new AIPC 36-22-04-01-130 SEALING RING (7) or AIPC 36-22-84-01-130 SEALING RING (7) and washer (8) in position on the bulkhead connection (6).
(22) Install the union nut (2) to the bulkhead connection (6) and TORQUE to between 0.69 and 0.58 m.daN (61.06 and 51.33 lbf.in )

(23) Safety the union nut (2) with lockwire, corrosion-resistant steel dia. 0.8 mm (0.032 in.) to the bulkhead connection (6).

A. Inspection of the Replacement Components
(1) Make sure that the sensing element is not damaged (flat or nicked).
(2) Make sure that the threaded section of the connector and socket are in the correct condition. Make sure that the center pin of the connector is free of corrosion, distortion, dirt and contamination.
(3) Make sure that the clamp is in the correct condition. Make sure that it is correctly attached to the structure and can be correctly locked.
Subtask 36-22-17-420-051-A (1) Make sure that the sensing element is not damaged (flat or nicked).
(2) Make sure that the threaded section of the connector and socket are in the correct condition. Make sure that the center pin of the connector is free of corrosion, distortion, dirt and contamination.

CAUTION:
REMOVE OR INSTALL THE SENSING ELEMENTS CAREFULLY. DO NOT TWIST, BEND OR CAUSE KINKS IN THE SENSING ELEMENTS. IF YOU DO, YOU CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THEM.
B. Installation of the Sensing-Elements NOTE: Obey the permitted tolerances for the installation of the sensing elements:

Make sure that the clearance between the sensing element and the duct is approximately 12.7 mm (0.5000 in.), measured over the full length of the sensing element.
(1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.and

(3) Install the grommet (4) on the sensing element.
(4) Put the sensing element in the correct installation position.
(5) Put the grommet (4) in position on the sensing element.
(6) Install the sensing element with the attached grommet (4) to the clamp (5).
NOTE: The slot of the grommet must be on the opposite to the camloc of the clamp.
(7) Close the clamp (5) and tighten the camloc (3). (8) Remove the blanking caps from the electrical connector(s) and the receptacle(s).
(9) Install the socket of the sensing element to the bracket.
(10) Install the bonding jumper to the socket.
(11) Install the retaining nut (1) and TORQUE it to between 0.69 and 0.58 m.daN (61.06 and 51.33 lbf.in )
. (12) Safety the retaining nut (1) and the socket with lockwire, corrosion-resistant steel dia. 0.8 mm (0.032 in.) to the bracket.
(13) Install the union nut (2) to the socket and TORQUE it to between 0.69 and 0.58 m.daN (61.06 and 51.33 lbf.in )
. (14) Safety the union nut (2) with lockwire, corrosion-resistant steel dia 0.8 mm (0.032 in.) to the retaining nut (1).
(15) On the bulkhead remove the blanking caps from the electrical connector(s).
(16) Clean the area with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(17) Make sure that you have a dry surface.
(18) Clean the bulkhead connection (6) with a BRUSH - NON METALLIC.
(19) Put the bulkhead connection (6) in position.
(20) Put the new AIPC 36-22-04-01-130 SEALING RING (7) or AIPC 36-22-84-01-130 SEALING RING (7) and washer (8) in position on the bulkhead connection (6).
WARNING:

(21) Apply one of these sealants: Polysulfide Sealant-Low Adhesion Brushable - (Material No.06AEA1) or Polysulfide Sealant-Low Adhesion Fillet Structure (Material No.06AEB2) to the bulkhead connection (6) on the pressurized side. (22) Install the union nut (2) to the bulkhead connection (6) and TORQUE to between 0.69 and 0.58 m.daN (61.06 and 51.33 lbf.in )
. (23) Safety the union nut (2) with lockwire, corrosion-resistant steel dia. 0.8 mm (0.032 in.) to the bulkhead connection (6).
C. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):
