A. Energize the aircraft electrical circuits (Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).

B. Safety Precautions
(1) Make sure that the engine 1(2) shut down occured not less than 5 minutes before you do this procedure.
(2) On the ENG panel 115VU, put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to start the engine 1(2).
(3) On the ENG section of the panel 50VU:

make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR 1(2) pushbutton switch is off.
put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).

4. Procedure

A. Operational Test of the Overheat Detection System
(1) Do the BITE Test of the BMC1 and BMC2 with printing of each TEST RESULT page. (Ref. AMM TASK 36-11-00-740-001)
(2) Make sure that the TEST RESULT pages do not show these maintenance indications:
