(1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 4M (13 FT)-ADJUSTABLE in position:
(a) FOR [4LJ] (MAINT. LIGHT), [5LJ] (MAINT. LIGHT)
in Zone 312.
(b) FOR [6LJ] (MAINT. LIGHT)
below the APU compartment.
(2) Open the access door:
(a) FOR [4LJ] (MAINT. LIGHT), [5LJ] (MAINT. LIGHT)
open 312AR.
(b) FOR [6LJ] (MAINT. LIGHT)
open 315AL.

4. Procedure

A. Test of the Service Area Lighting.
(1) Do this test.

ACTION	RESULT
1.In the section 19 service area:	In the section 19 service area:
set the control switch 3LJ to the ON position.	the service area lights 4LJ and 5LJ come on.
set the control switch 3LJ to the OFF position.	the service area lights 4LJ and 5LJ go off.
2.In the APU compartment:	In the APU compartment:
set the control switch 11LJ to the ON position.	the service area light 6LJ comes on.
set the control switch 11LJ to the OFF position.	the service area light 6LJ goes off.

5. Close-up

A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Close the access door:
(a) FOR [4LJ] (MAINT. LIGHT), [5LJ] (MAINT. LIGHT)
close 312AR.
(b) FOR [6LJ] (MAINT. LIGHT)
close 315AL.
(3) Remove the access platform(s).

B. De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits (Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-862-002).
