   (1) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits (Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).

4. Procedure
Subtask 33-27-00-710-051-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Do this test of the cabin attendant work-lights.
ACTION
RESULT
1.On the Forward Attendant Panel (FAP) 120RH:
On the FAP (120RH):
  • Push the POWER ATTN membrane switch.
  • The POWER ATTN integral light of the membrane switch comes on.
2.On the switch panels:
On the circuit breaker panels and the Passenger Service Information Unit (PSIU):
  • Push the cabin-attendant work-light pushbutton-switches.
  • The cabin attendant work-lights come on.
3.On the FAP (120RH):
On the FAP (120RH):
  • Push the POWER ATTN membrane switch.
  • The POWER ATTN integral light of the membrane switch goes off.

On the circuit breaker panels and the PSIU:

  • All the cabin attendant work-lights go off.
On the FAP (120RH):
On the FAP (120RH):
  • Push the POWER ATTN membrane switch again, in less than 10 seconds.
  • The POWER ATTN integral light of the membrane switch comes on.

On the circuit breaker panels and the PSIU.

  • All the cabin attendant work-lights come on.
NOTE: The last instruction from the cabin-attendant work-light pushbutton-switch is kept in the memory of the reading-light power unit for 1 to 10 seconds.
4.On the switch panels:
On the circuit breaker panels and the PSIU:
  • Push the cabin-attendant work-light pushbutton-switches.
  • The cabin attendant work-lights go off.
5.On the FAP (120RH):
On the FAP (120RH):
  • Push the POWER ATTN membrane switch.
  • The POWER ATTN integral light of the membrane switch goes off.

A. Operational Test
   (1) Do the operational test of the cabin attendant work-lights:
ACTION
RESULT
1.On Flight Attendant Panel (FAP) 120RH:
On the FAP (120RH):
  • Push the LIGHT MAIN ON/OFF membrane switch.
  • The LIGHT MAIN ON/OFF indication on the membrane switch comes on.
  • Set the 'LIGHT' page.
  • All possible cabin lighting zones are shown.
2.For the cabin attendant work-lights, on the related switch panel:


On the related panel:
  • Push the pushbutton switch.
  • The cabin attendant work-light comes on.
  • Push the pushbutton switch again.
  • The cabin attendant work-light goes off.
NOTE: If two attendant seats are installed in the aft entry area:
  • The FWD switch in the flight direction controls the inboard seat.
  • The AFT switch in the flight direction controls the outboard seat.

B. Do this BITE test of the cabin attendant work-lights and passenger reading lights on the Programming and Test Panel (PTP) 110RH.

1.On the FAP 120RH:
On the FAP 120RH:
  • push the POWER READ and POWER ATTN membrane switches.
  • the POWER READ and POWER ATTN integral lights of the membrane switches come on.
2.On the PTP 110RH:
On the PTP 110RH:
  • push the DSPL ON membrane switch.
  • the CIDS menu comes on.
  • push the SYSTEM TEST line select key.
  • the SYSTEM TEST menu comes on.
  • push CONT until the READING/WORK LIGHTS display comes on.

  • push the READING/WORK LIGHTS line select key.
  • the page RDG/WORK LIGHTS TEST comes on.

  • the WAIT FOR RESPONSE display comes on and flashes.

In the cabin:

  • all the cabin attendant work-lights and passenger reading lights come on for approx. 3 s then go off.

On the PTP 110RH:

  • the display RDG/WORK LIGHTS ATA 23-73-00 TEST OK comes on.
3.On the PTP 110RH:
On the PTP 110RH:
  • push the DSPL ON membrane switch.
  • the CIDS menu comes on.
4.On the FAP 120RH:
On the FAP 120RH:
  • push the POWER READ and POWER ATTN membrane switches.
  • the POWER READ and POWER ATTN integral lights of the membrane switches go off.
5. Close-up

A. Put the aircraft back to the serviceable condition.
   (1) De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits (Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-862-002).
