A. Deactivation of the Cabin NS/FSB/RTS Signs
(1) Do the operational test of the cabin signs (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-00-710-017) and find the defective NS/FSB/RTS sign(s).
(2) Find the passenger seats from which you cannot see the serviceable NS/FSB/RTS sign.
(3) Put WARNING NOTICE(S) in position on these seats to tell the passengers not to use them.
5. Close-up(1) Do the operational test of the cabin signs (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-00-710-017) and find the defective NS/FSB/RTS sign(s).
(2) Find the passenger seats from which you cannot see the serviceable NS/FSB/RTS sign.
(3) Put WARNING NOTICE(S) in position on these seats to tell the passengers not to use them.
NOTE: It must be possible to see a serviceable NS/FSB/RTS sign from every passenger seat that is in use.
(4) Make an entry in the aircraft technical logbook. Subtask 33-20-00-860-051-A
A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-862-002).
