A. Deactivation of the Cabin NS/FSB/RTS Signs
   (1) Do the operational test of the cabin signs (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-00-710-017) and find the defective NS/FSB/RTS sign(s).
   (2) Find the passenger seats from which you cannot see the serviceable NS/FSB/RTS sign.
   (3) Put WARNING NOTICE(S) in position on these seats to tell the passengers not to use them.
NOTE: It must be possible to see a serviceable NS/FSB/RTS sign from every passenger seat that is in use.
   (4) Make an entry in the aircraft technical logbook.

A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
   (2) De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-862-002).
