A. Test of the Dome Lights

ACTION	RESULT
1.On the panel 25VU: Put the DOME switch in the DIM position.	On the dome light panels 452VU and 453VU: The four lights come on with a dim intensity.
Put the DOME switch in the BRT position.	The four lights get brighter.
Put the DOME switch in the OFF position.	The lights go off.

A. Test of the Dome Lights

ACTION	RESULT
1.On the overhead control and indicating panel 25VU: Set the DOME switch to the DIM position.	In the cockpit ceiling, on the left and the right sides of the overhead panel: The two dome lights come on dim.
Set the DOME switch to the BRT position.	The two dome lights become brighter.
Set the DOME switch to the DIM position.	The two dome lights become dimmer.
Set the DOME switch to the OFF position.	The two dome lights go off.

B. Test of the Console and Briefcase Lights

ACTION	RESULT
1.On panel 301VU: Put the CONSOLE/FLOOR switch in the DIM position.	On the Captain side: The three console lights come on. On panel 1VU, the briefcase light comes on. The four floor lights come on.
Put the switch in the BRT position.	These lights get brighter.
Put the switch in the OFF position.	The lights go off.
2.On panel 500VU: Put the CONSOLE/FLOOR switch in the DIM position.	On the First Officer side: The three console lights come on. On panel 7VU, the briefcase light comes on. The four floor lights come on with a dim intensity.
Put the switch in the BRT position.	The lights get brighter.
Put the switch in the OFF position .	The lights go off.

C. Test of the Instrument Lighting, of the Reading Lights, of the Supplementary Reading Lights and of the Center Pedestal Light

ACTION	RESULT
1.On panel 111VU: Turn the FLOOD LT/MAIN PNL rheostat from the OFF to the BRT position.	On the Captain, First Officer and center instrument-panels: The lights get brighter until they are fully bright.
Turn the rheostat from the BRT to the OFF position.	The lights get dimmer and then go off.
2.On the Captain and the First Officer sides: Pull the reading lights. Turn the READING LT rheostats.	On the Captain and the First officer sides: The reading lights come on with a dim intensity. The reading lights get brighter until they are fully bright.
Turn the rheostats in the opposite direction.	The reading lights get dimmer.
Push the reading lights into their holders.	The reading lights go off.
3.On panel 54VU: Turn the READING LT rheostat from the OFF to the BRT position.	On panel 54VU: The reading light gets brighter until it is fully bright.
Turn the rheostat in the opposite direction.	The reading light gets dimmer and then goes off.
4.On panel 131VU: Turn the rheostat of the Captain main instrument-panel light from the OFF to the BRT position.	On the Captain main instrument-panel: The flood lights get brighter until they are fully bright.
Turn the rheostat from the BRT to the OFF position.	The flood lights get dimmer and then go off.
5.On panel 130VU: Turn the rheostat of the F/O main instrument-panel light from the OFF to the BRT position.	On the F/O main instrument-panel: The flood lights get brighter until they are fully bright.
Turn the rheostat from the BRT to the OFF position.	The flood lights get dimmer and then go off.
6.On panel 112VU: Turn the FLOOD LT/PED rheostat from the OFF to the BRT position.	On the panel 48VU: The center pedestal light gets brighter until it is fully bright.
Turn the rheostat in the opposite direction.	The center pedestal light gets dimmer and then goes off.

	On the Captain and First-Officer instrument-panels: The lights get brighter until they are fully bright.
Turn the rheostat from the BRT to the OFF position.	The flood lights get dimmer and then go off.
2.On panel 54VU: Turn the READING LT rheostat from the OFF to the BRT position.	On panel 54VU: The reading light gets brighter until it is fully bright.
Turn the rheostat in the opposite direction.	The reading light gets dimmer and then goes off.
3.On panel 131VU: Turn the rheostat of the Captain main instrument-panel light from the OFF to the BRT position.	On the Captain main instrument-panel: The flood lights get brighter until they are fully bright.
Turn the rheostat from the BRT to the OFF position.	The flood lights get dimmer and then go off.

5.On the Captain and the First-Officer sides: Turn the rheostats of the map table lights.	On the Captain and First Officer sides:
Set the switches to ON.	The map table lights come on with a dim intensity.
Turn the rheostat.	The map table lights get brighter until they are fully bright.
Turn the rheostats in the opposite direction.	The map table lights get dimmer.
Set the switch to OFF.	The map table light goes off.
6.On panel 112VU: Turn the FLOOD LT/PED rheostat from the OFF to the BRT position.	On panel 48VU: The center pedestal light gets brighter until it is fully bright.
Turn the rheostat in the opposite direction.	The center pedestal light gets dimmer and then goes off.

1.On the FLOOD LT/INTEG LT panel 111VU: Turn the FLOOD LT/MAIN PNL rheostat from the OFF to the BRT position,	On the captain, first officer and center main instrument-panels: The lights get brighter until they are fully bright,
Turn the FLOOD LT/MAIN PNL BRT rheostat from the BRT to the OFF position.	The lights get dimmer and then go off.
2.On the REAR C/B panel 122VU:	On the first officer and right side of the center main instrument-panels:
Open the circuit breakers 9XE, 11XE and 2LE.	The lights come on with a dim intensity and illuminate the triple indicator.
3.On the FLOOD LT/INTEG LT panel 111VU: Turn the FLOOD LT/MAIN PNL rheostat from the OFF to the BRT position.	On the captain and left side of the center main instrument-panels: The lights get brighter until they are fully bright.
	On the first officer and right side of the center main instrument-panels: The lights still on and the illumination of the triple indicator remains the same.
4.On the REAR C/B panel 122VU: Close the circuit breakers 2LE and 11XE.	On the captain and left side of the center main instrument-panels: There is no change on the brightness.
	On the first officer and right side of the center main instrument-panels: The lights get fully bright.
5.On the FLOOD LT/INTEG LT panel 111VU: Turn the FLOOD LT/MAIN PNL rheostat from the BRT to the OFF position.	On the captain, first officer and center main instrument-panels: The lights get dimmer and then go off.
Turn the FLOOD LT/MAIN PNL rheostat from the OFF to the BRT position.	On the captain, first officer and center main instrument-panels: The lights get brighter until they are fully bright.
6.On the REAR C/B panel 122VU: Open the circuit breaker 11XE, Close the circuit breaker 9XE.	On the captain, first officer and center main instrument-panels: There is no change.
7.On the FLOOD LT/INTEG LT panel 111VU: Turn the FLOOD LT/MAIN PNL rheostat from the BRT to the OFF position.	On the captain, first officer and center main instrument-panels: The lights get dimmer and then go off,
Turn the FLOOD LT/MAIN PNL rheostat from the OFF to the BRT position.	On the captain, first officer and center main instrument-panels: The lights get brighter until they are fully bright.

Turn the rheostat from the BRT to the OFF position.	The flood lights get dimmer and then go off.
12.On the F/O GLARESHIELD panel 130VU: Turn the rheostat of the first-officer main-instrument-panel light from the OFF to the BRT position,	On the first-officer main instrument-panel: The flood lights get brighter until they are fully bright,
Turn the rheostat from the BRT to the OFF position.	The flood lights get dimmer and then go off.
13.On the captain and the first officer sides: Turn the rheostats of the map table lights,	On the captain and first officer sides:
Set the switches to ON,	The map table lights come on with a dim intensity,
Turn the rheostat,	The map table lights get brighter until they are fully bright,
Turn the rheostats in the opposite direction,	The map table lights get dimmer,
Set the switch to OFF.	The map table light goes off.
14.On the FLOOD LT panel 112VU: Turn the FLOOD LT/PED rheostat from the OFF to the BRT position,	On the OVERHEAD CTL & IND panel 48VU: The center pedestal light gets brighter until it is fully bright,
Turn the FLOOD LT/PED rheostat in the opposite direction.	The center pedestal light gets dimmer and then goes off.

C. Test of the Main Instrument Lighting, of the Supplementary Reading Light, of the Map Table Lights and of the Center Pedestal Light

ACTION	RESULT
1.On the flood light/integral light panel 111VU: Turn the FLOOD LT/MAIN PNL potentiometer from the OFF position to the BRT position.	On the Captain, F/O and center main instrument-panels: The lights become brighter until they are fully bright.
Turn the FLOOD LT/MAIN PNL potentiometer from the BRT position to the OFF position.	The lights become dimmer and then go off.
2.On the rear circuit-breaker panel 122VU:	On the F/O main instrument-panel and right side of the center main instrument-panel:
Open circuit breakers 9XE, 11XE and 2LE.	The lights come on dim and illuminate the triple indicator.
3.On the flood light/integral light panel 111VU: Turn the FLOOD LT/MAIN PNL potentiometer from the OFF position to the BRT position.	On the Captain main instrument-panel and left side of the center main instrument-panels: The lights become brighter until they are fully bright.
	On the F/O main instrument-panel and the right side of the center main instrument-panel: The lights stay dim and the illumination of the triple indicator stays the same.

	On the F/O main instrument-panel and right side of the center main instrument-panel: The lights become fully bright.

12.On the F/O main-instrument panel-light: Turn the potentiometer clockwise.	On the F/O main instrument-panel: The sliding table lights become brighter until they are fully bright.
Turn the potentiometer counterclockwise.	The sliding table lights become dimmer and then go off.
13.On the Captain and the F/O sides: Turn the potentiometers of the map table lights from the OFF position to the BRT position.	On the Captain and F/O sides: The map table lights come on bright.
Turn the potentiometers from the BRT position to the OFF position.	The map table lights goes off.
14.On the flood light panel 112VU: Turn the FLOOD LT/PED potentiometer from the OFF position to the BRT position,	On the panel overhead control and indicating panel 48VU: The center pedestal light becomes brighter until it is fully bright.
