Removal of the Manifold Assembly
WARNING:
MAKE SURE THAT ALL THE CIRCUITS IN MAINTENANCE ARE ISOLATED BEFORE YOU SUPPLY ELECTRICAL POWER TO THE AIRCRAFT. UNWANTED ELECTRICAL POWER CAN BE DANGEROUS.

A. Safety Precautions
(1) Obey the hydraulic safety procedures (Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-910-002).
(2) Put the WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to pressurize the Yellow hydraulic system:

(2) Put the WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to pressurize the Yellow hydraulic system:
- On panel 40VU in the cockpit
- On the ground service panel of the Yellow hydraulic system.
B. Get Access
(1) Open the RH MLG door (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-010-001).
(2) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) in position.

(2) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) in position.
C. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
(2) Depressurize the Yellow hydraulic system
(Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-864-002):
(Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-001).
(4) Put a CONTAINER 5 L (1.32 USGAL) below the manifold assembly (2) to collect the hydraulic fluid leakage.
Subtask 32-51-21-865-053-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
(2) Depressurize the Yellow hydraulic system
(Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-864-002):
- Do not connect the PTU isolation coupling
- Do not close the RH MLG door.
(Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-001).
(4) Put a CONTAINER 5 L (1.32 USGAL) below the manifold assembly (2) to collect the hydraulic fluid leakage.

A. Removal of the Manifold Assembly
(1) Remove the safety valve (Ref. AMM TASK 32-51-21-000-001).
(2) Disconnect the hydraulic unions (1) and (3). Use two wrenches, one to hold the unions of the manifold assembly (2) and other to loosen the hydraulic unions (1) and (3) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-23-11-917-001).
(3) Remove the bolts (5) and the washers (4).
(4) Carefully remove the manifold assembly (2) from the aircraft structure.
(5) Put the PLUG-BLANKING in each disconnected line end.
(1) Remove the safety valve (Ref. AMM TASK 32-51-21-000-001).
(2) Disconnect the hydraulic unions (1) and (3). Use two wrenches, one to hold the unions of the manifold assembly (2) and other to loosen the hydraulic unions (1) and (3) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-23-11-917-001).
(3) Remove the bolts (5) and the washers (4).
(4) Carefully remove the manifold assembly (2) from the aircraft structure.
(5) Put the PLUG-BLANKING in each disconnected line end.
