3. Job Set-up
Subtask 32-46-00-860-067-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) On the panel 400VU, make sure that the L/G normal control lever is at down.
   (2) On the panel 402VU, make sure that the A/SKID & NOSEWHEEL switch is at ON.
   (3) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits (Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
   (4) On the MCDU, get the SYSTEM REPORT/TEST/L/G page (Ref. AMM TASK 31-32-00-860-009).

B. Safety precautions
   (1) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to:
  • operate the landing gear control lever,
  • operate the brake pedals,
  • pressurize the Green and the Yellow hydraulic systems.

A. Selection of the BSCU LAST LEG REPORT
NOTE: You must do this test before each flight when the BRAKES-N/WS MINOR FAULT caution message is shown on the Upper ECAM Display Unit.

NOTE: This test is for channel 1. For channel 2, use the indications between parentheses.

RESULT
1.On the MCDU, push the line key adjacent to the BSCU 1(2) indication.
The BSCU CHAN 1(2) page comes into view.

2.Push the line key adjacent to the LAST LEG REPORT indication.
The BSCU CHAN 1(2)/LAST LEG REPORT page comes into view.
  • Make sure that these CFDS fault messages are not shown:
    BRK ALTN PRESS TRANSDUCER (101GG) or (100GG)
    ABCU (95GG)/BRK NORM SEL VALVE XDCR (96GG)
5. Close-up
Subtask 32-46-00-860-068-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.
   (1) On the MCDU, push the line select key adjacent to the RETURN indication until the CFDS menu page comes into view.
   (2) De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-862-002).
   (3) Make an entry in the logbook to tell persons that the BSCU is checked.
   (4) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
