A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Depressurize the Yellow hydraulic system (Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-864-002).
Subtask 32-43-21-010-051-A Subtask 32-43-21-869-051-A (1) Depressurize the Yellow hydraulic system (Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-864-002).
C. Disconnection of the PTU Isolation Coupling
(1) Depressurize the reservoir of the Yellow hydraulic system (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-001).
(2) Disconnect the PTU isolation coupling (Ref. AMM TASK 29-23-00-860-001).
(3) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) in position.
(4) Put the CONTAINER 5 L (1.32 USGAL) below the hydraulic brake filter 2862GM to collect the hydraulilc fluid leakage.
Subtask 32-43-21-865-053-A (1) Depressurize the reservoir of the Yellow hydraulic system (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-001).
(2) Disconnect the PTU isolation coupling (Ref. AMM TASK 29-23-00-860-001).
(3) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) in position.
(4) Put the CONTAINER 5 L (1.32 USGAL) below the hydraulic brake filter 2862GM to collect the hydraulilc fluid leakage.

E. Safety Precautions
(1) Put the WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to pressurize the Yellow hydraulic system:

- On panel 40VU in the cockpit
- On the ground service panel of the Yellow hydraulic system.
Subtask 32-43-21-020-051-A
A. Removal of the Filter 2862GM
(1) Obey the hydraulic safety procedures (Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-910-002).
(3) Remove the bowl (3) and the filter cartridge (2). Discard the filter cartridge (2).
Subtask 32-43-21-560-052-A (1) Obey the hydraulic safety procedures (Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-910-002).
WARNING:
USE PROTECTIVE GOGGLES AND GLOVES WHEN YOU REMOVE OR INSTALL LOCKWIRE. EACH TIME YOU CUT LOCKWIRE, REMOVE AND DISCARD IT IMMEDIATELY. LOOSE LOCKWIRE CAN CUT YOU OR MAKE YOU BLIND, AND/OR CAN CAUSE DAMAGE.
(2) Remove and discard the lockwire from the bowl (3) and the filter head (1). (3) Remove the bowl (3) and the filter cartridge (2). Discard the filter cartridge (2).
B. Preparation for Installation
(1) Clean the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
(2) Do an inspection of the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
(3) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
(4) If necessary, push in the red clogging indicator.
(5) Apply Phosphate Ester Hydraulic Fluid-General Power - - (Material No.02ABA1) to:
Subtask 32-43-21-420-051-A (1) Clean the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
(2) Do an inspection of the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
(3) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
(4) If necessary, push in the red clogging indicator.
(5) Apply Phosphate Ester Hydraulic Fluid-General Power - - (Material No.02ABA1) to:
- The threads of the bowl (3)
- The packing that is installed in the new filter cartridge (2).
C. Installation of Brake Filter 2862GM
(1) Install the AIPC 32-42-12-01-060 FILTER CARTRIDGE (2) in the bowl (3).
(2) Put the bowl (3) in position and tighten the bowl to the filter head (1) with your hand.

Subtask 32-43-21-865-054-A (1) Install the AIPC 32-42-12-01-060 FILTER CARTRIDGE (2) in the bowl (3).
(2) Put the bowl (3) in position and tighten the bowl to the filter head (1) with your hand.

(3) Safety the bowl (3) to the filter head (1) with D. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):

E. Connection of the PTU Isolation Coupling
(1) If necessary fill the reservoir of the Yellow hydraulic system to the correct level (Ref. AMM TASK 12-12-29-611-001).
(2) Connect the PTU isolation coupling (Ref. AMM TASK 29-23-00-860-002).
(a) Pressurize the Yellow hydraulic system
(Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-863-002).
(3) Test of the System
(a) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(b) Do the operational check of the alternative braking system (Ref. AMM TASK 32-43-00-710-001).
(c) Operate the brakes and make sure that:
(e) Remove the access platform(s).
5. Close-up(1) If necessary fill the reservoir of the Yellow hydraulic system to the correct level (Ref. AMM TASK 12-12-29-611-001).
(2) Connect the PTU isolation coupling (Ref. AMM TASK 29-23-00-860-002).
(a) Pressurize the Yellow hydraulic system
(Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-863-002).
(3) Test of the System
(a) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(b) Do the operational check of the alternative braking system (Ref. AMM TASK 32-43-00-710-001).
(c) Operate the brakes and make sure that:
- The clogging indicator stays in
- There is no hydraulic fluid leakage from the hydraulic brake filter 2862GM.
(e) Remove the access platform(s).

A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Close the right MLG door (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-410-001).
(3) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
