A. Safety Precautions
   (1) Make sure that the SAFETY BARRIER(S) are in position.
   (2) Make sure that the ground safety locks are on the landing gear (Ref. AMM TASK 32-00-00-481-001).
   (3) On the panel 400VU:
  • make sure that the landing-gear control-lever 6GA is in the DOWN position
  • make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to operate the landing gear.
   (4) Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to pressurize the Green and Yellow hydraulic system.
Subtask 32-42-21-860-052-A
B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE is in position below the applicable zone 733 or 743.
   (2) Make sure the isolation coupling of the PTU is disconnected (Ref. AMM TASK 29-23-00-860-001).
   (3) Make sure that the Yellow and Green hydraulic systems are de-pressurized (Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-864-001).
   (4) Make sure that the applicable hydraulic reservoir has been depressurized (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-001).

4. Procedure
Subtask 32-42-21-420-052-A
A. Preparation for Installation
   (1) Clean the component interface and/or the adjacent area with a Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) made moist with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) .
   (2) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
   (3) Remove the PLUG - BLANKING from the opening of the normal brake manifold and the pressure transducer.
   (4) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
   (5) Make sure that the hydraulic line end-fittings are serviceable.
   (6) Lubricate the new AIPC 32-42-21-01-010 O-RING (3) with Phosphate Ester Hydraulic Fluid-General Power - - (Material No.02ABA1) .
   (7) Install the O-ring (3) in the groove on the interface of the pressure transducer (2).
Subtask 32-42-21-420-050-A
B. Installation of the Normal Brake Pressure-Transducer
   (1) Put the pressure transducer (2) in position on the normal brake manifold and install the bolts (4).
   (2) TORQUE the bolts (4) to between 0.495 and 0.405 m.daN (43.81 and 35.84 lbf.in ) T.
Subtask 32-42-21-760-050-A
C. Electrical Bonding Resistance Test
   (1) Use a MILLIOHMMETER ACCURACY 0.005 OHM to measure the bonding resistance between:
     (a) The MLG forward pintle bearing and the applicable brake manifold pressure transducer (2). The bonding resistance must be less than 20 milliohms.
   (2) Remove the CAP - BLANKING from the electrical connector (1).
   (3) Connect the electrical connector (1) to the pressure transducer (2).
