A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
   (2) On the Multipurpose Control and Display Unit (MCDU), get the SYSTEM REPORT/TEST/INST page (Ref. AMM TASK 31-32-00-860-008).

A. Read the Pin Programming Indications for the DMC
NOTE: This procedure is for DMC 1. For DMC 2 and DMC 3, use the indications between parentheses.

On the MCDU:
  • Push the line key adjacent to the EIS 1(2, 3) indication.
  • The DMC 1(2, 3) main-menu page comes into view.
2.On the DMC 1(2, 3) page:

  • Push the line key adjacent to the PIN PROG/STATUS AND XLOAD indication.
  • The DMC 1(2, 3) PIN PROG/STATUS AND XLOAD page comes into view.
  • Push the line key adjacent to the PIN PROG indication.
  • The DMC 1(2, 3) PIN PROG page comes into view.
  • Push the line key adjacent to the HARD PIN PROG indication.
  • The DMC 1(2, 3) HARD PIN PROG page comes into view.
  • Push the line key adjacent to the DMC 1(2, 3) indication.
  • The DMC 1(2, 3) HARD PIN PROG page 1/3 comes into view with the status of the pin-programming hardware indications:
NOTE: The pin-programming activation function comes into view in binary code:
  • 0: The pin programming is not activated (set to OPEN).
  • 1: The pin programming is activated (set to GROUND).
  • Push the down arrow key to get the subsequent pages.
  • The DMC 1(2, 3) HARD PIN PROG page 2/3 comes into view with the status of the pin-programming hardware indications:

5. Close-up
Subtask 31-60-00-860-151-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.
   (1) On the MCDU, push the line select key adjacent to the RETURN indication until the CFDS menu page comes into view.
   (2) De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-862-002).
   (3) Put the system back to the serviceable condition.
