4. Procedure
Subtask 31-38-00-740-051-F ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. Do this test:

ACTION	RESULT
1.Adjust the brightness of the MCDU screen.	the MCDU is on.
2.On the MCDU: push the MCDU MENU mode key.	On the MCDU: the MCDU MENU page comes into view.
3.On the MCDU: push the line key adjacent to the CFDS indication.	On the MCDU: the CFDS MENU page comes into view.
4.On the MCDU: push the line key adjacent to the SYSTEM REPORT/TEST indication.	On the MCDU: the SYSTEM REPORT/TEST page comes into view.
5.On the MCDU: push the line key adjacent to the INST indication.	On the MCDU: the SYSTEM REPORT/TEST/INST page comes into view.
6.On the MCDU: push the line key adjacent to the MDDU indication.	On the MCDU: the MDDU TEST page comes into view.
7.Put the 36003607000 TEST DISK into the MDDU. NOTE: Make sure that the write protection is removed from the disk.	On the MDDU: the READY indication comes into view.
8.On the MCDU 1(2), on the MDDU page: push the line key adjacent to the TEST indication.	On the MCDU, on the MDDU TEST page: The TEST IN PROGRESS 10s comes into view. The TEST OK comes into view on the MDDU TEST page.
	On the MDDU: The TEST IN PROGRESS indication comes into view. After 10 secondes, the TEST COMPLETE indication comes into view.
9.Eject the TEST DISK (36003607000) from the MDDU.	On the MDDU: the MDDU READY indication is shown.

5. Close-up
Subtask 31-38-00-860-094-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.
(1) Make sure that MDDU door is closed.
(2) On the MCDU, push the line key adjacent to the RETURN indication until the CFDS MENU page comes into view.
(3) De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-862-002).
