A. Activation/Deactivation Procedure
NOTE: The actions and the results of this procedure occur on the MCDU used.
ACTION
RESULT
1.Adjust the brightness of the MCDU screen.

2.Push the MCDU MENU mode key.
The MCDU MENU page comes into view.
3.Push the line key adjacent to the CFDS indication.
The CFDS menu page comes into view.
4.Push the NEXT PAGE function key.

5.Push the line key adjacent to the ACARS PRINT PROGRAM indication.
The ACARS/PRINT PROGRAM page comes into view.
6.To change the programming:

  • Push the right line key adjacent to the POST FLT REP indication.
The programming display changes to:

YES*: to activate the automatic Post Flight Report printout

NO*: to deactivate the automatic Post Flight Report printout.

3.Push the line key adjacent to the CFDS indication.
The CFDS menu page comes into view.
4.Push the NEXT PAGE function key.

5.Access to the REPORTS PROGRAMMING page without a password:
NOTE: The REPORTS PROGRAMMING page is not shown in the CFDS menu if the ACARS MU/ATSU is not installed.

  • Push the line key adjacent to the REPORTS PROGRAMMING indication.
The REPORTS PROGRAMMING page comes into view.
6.Access to the REPORTS PROGRAMMING page with a password:
NOTE: Access to the REPORTS PROGRAMMING page is available only after selection of the password mode (access with a password).
NOTE: If you use the transparent mode (free access), the ENTER PASSWORD page does not come into view.


  • Push the line key adjacent to the REPORTS PROGRAMMING indication.
The ENTER PASSWORD page comes into view.

  • Enter your password with the MCDU keyboard.


  • Push the line key adjacent to the ENTER indication.
The REPORTS PROGRAMMING page comes into view.
7.To change the programming:

  • Push the right line key adjacent to the POST FLT REP indication.
The programming display changes to:

  • YES*: to start the automatic PFR printout

  • NO*: to stop the automatic PFR printout.
5. Close-up
Subtask 31-32-00-860-114-A
A. Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.
   (1) On the MCDU, push the line key adjacent to the RETURN indication until the CFDS menu page comes into view.
   (2) Fully decrease the brightness of the MCDU screen (display off).

B. De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits (Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-862-002).
