Subtask 29-12-32-860-052-A

A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration

WARNING: OBEY THE HYDRAULIC SAFETY PROCEDURES.

(1) Obey the hydraulic safety procedures (Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-910-002).
(2) Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) are in position to tell persons not to pressurize the Blue hydraulic system:

In the cockpit on the hydraulic section 40VU of the overhead panel
On the ground service panel of the Blue hydraulic system.

(3) Make sure that the Blue hydraulic system is depressurized and put it in the maintenance configuration.
(Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-864-001).
(4) Make sure that the reservoir of the Blue hydraulic system is depressurized (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-001).
(5) Make sure that the access panel 195BB and the access door 197EB are open.
(6) Make sure that the CONTAINER 1 L (1/4 USGAL) is in position below the HP manifold.

4. Procedure
Subtask 29-12-32-560-050-B

A. Preparation for Installation

Pressure Relief Valve on HP Manifold with P/N series 1554A9900

(1) Remove the blanking plugs from the pressure relief valve (1) and the HP manifold.
(2) Apply Phosphate Ester Hydraulic Fluid-General Power - - (Material No.02ABA1) to the new:

Back-up rings (4) and (11)
Square-section seals (10)
O-rings (12).

(3) Put the two new AIPC 29-12-14-02-080 BACK-UP RINGS (11) in position on the sides of the bobbins (5) without the identification groove (equipment side).
(4) Put the two new AIPC 29-12-14-02-090 SQUARE-SECTION SEALS (10) in position on the sides of the bobbins (5) without the identification groove (equipment side).
(5) Put the two new AIPC 29-12-14-02-070 BACK-UP RINGS (4) in position on the sides of the bobbins (5) with the identification groove (manifold side).
(6) Put the two new AIPC 29-12-14-02-060 O-RINGS (12) in position on the sides of the bobbins (5) with the identification groove (manifold side).
(7) Install the two bobbins (5) with the identification grooves in the ports of the manifold (Ref. AMM TASK 20-23-21-911-001).

Subtask 29-12-32-420-051-B

B. Installation of the Pressure Relief Valve

Pressure Relief Valve on HP Manifold with P/N series 1554A9900

(1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Install the pressure relief valve (1) on the manifold.
(4) Install the bolts (2) and the washers (3).
(5) TORQUE the bolts (2) to between 1.8 and 1.6 m.daN (13.27 and 11.80 lbf.ft )

(6) Connect the bonding strap (8) to the pressure relief valve (1) and install the bolt (6), the washer (7) and the nut (9).
(7) Tighten the nut (9).
(8) Seal the connection of the bonding jumper (8) with Polysulfide Sealant_General Purpose Brushable - (Material No.06AAA1) .
(9) Apply Coating_- Flexible Structure (Material No.04QAB2) (dyed blue) to the sealant.

Subtask 29-12-32-790-050-A

C. Test
(1) Pressurize the reservoir of the Blue hydraulic system (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-002).
(2) Make sure that the fluid level in the reservoir of the Blue hydraulic system is correct. Add fluid as necessary (Ref. AMM TASK 12-12-29-611-001) or (Ref. AMM TASK 12-12-29-611-002).
(3) Pressurize the Blue hydraulic system (Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-863-003).
(4) Examine the connection of the pressure relief valve (1) and the manifold and make sure that there are no leaks.
(5) Depressurize the Blue hydraulic system (Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-864-003).

5. Close-up
Subtask 29-12-32-860-051-A

A. Put the aircraft back to the serviceable condition.
(1) Remove the container.
(2) Remove the warning notices from the cockpit and the ground service panel.

Subtask 29-12-32-410-050-A

B. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Close the access panel 195BB.
(3) Close the access door 197EB.

C. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):
