(1) Put the bushes (6) and (18) and the end of the links-spoiler 4 (7) and (19) in position on the spoiler brackets.
(2) Install the bushes (2) and (16) and the bolts (1) and (17).
(3) Install the washers (3) and (15) and the nuts (4) and (14).
(4) TORQUE the nuts (4) and (14) to between 1.36 and 1.13 m.daN (120.35 and 100.00 lbf.in )
.
(5) Safety the nut (4) with the new AIPC 57-74-21-01-180 COTTER PIN (5) or AIPC 57-74-85-01-190 COTTER PIN (5) and the nut (14) with the new AIPC 57-74-21-01-180 COTTER PIN (13) or AIPC 57-74-85-01-190 COTTER PIN (13).
(6) Install the spacer (12).
(7) Put the links-spoiler 4 (7) and (19) and the sliding bush (29) in position through the rear spar fittings and the spoiler fittings.
(8) Install the hinge pin (20) through the rear spar fitting.
(9) Install the washers (8) and (28) and the nuts (9) and (27).
(10) TORQUE the nuts (9) and (27) to between 4.0 and 3.5 m.daN (29.50 and 25.81 lbf.ft )
.
(11) Install the locking caps (10) and (26) on the nuts (9) and (27).
(12) Safety the locking cap (10) with the new AIPC 27-64-05-14-180 PIN (11) or AIPC 27-64-85-14-180 PIN (11) and the locking cap (26) with the new AIPC 27-64-05-14-100 COTTER PIN (25) or AIPC 27-64-85-14-110 COTTER PIN (25).
(13) Clean the interfaces of the bolt (24) and the spacer (23) with a clean Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) and Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) .
(14) Apply a thin layer of Polysulfide Sealant-Low Adhesion Brushable - (Material No.06AEA1) or Polysulfide Sealant-Low Adhesion Fillet Structure (Material No.06AEB2) to the interfaces of the bolt (24) and the spacer (23).
(15) Install the bolt (24).
(16) Install the spacer (23), the locking plate (21) and the nut (22).
(17) TORQUE the nut (22) to between 0.30 and 0.25 m.daN (26.55 and 22.12 lbf.in )

MAKE SURE THAT THE GROUND SAFETY-LOCKS ARE IN POSITION ON THE LANDING GEAR. THIS WILL PREVENT UNWANTED MOVEMENT OF THE LANDING GEAR, AND THUS POSSIBLE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT AND/OR EQUIPMENT.

BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU USE CONSUMABLE MATERIALS. OBEY THE MATERIAL MANUFACTURER'S INSTRUCTIONS AND YOUR LOCAL REGULATIONS.
CAUTION:
BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU DO MAINTENANCE TASKS ON THE WING TRAILING EDGE:
1. Reason for the Job- DO NOT CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE ELECTRICAL CABLE RACEWAYS.
- DO NOT CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE ELECTRICAL CABLE INSTALLATIONS.
- MAKE SURE THAT THE ELECTRICAL CABLES ARE INSTALLED CORRECTLY. INCORRECT INSTALLATION CAN CAUSE DAMAGE.

(2) Make sure that the spoiler 4 is extended (Ref. AMM TASK 27-60-00-866-002).
(3) Make sure that the 98D27604000000 COLLAR-SAFETY, SPOILER or 98D27604004000 COLLAR SAFETY SPOILER is on the piston rod of the servo-control.
(4) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 4M (13 FT)-ADJUSTABLE is below the applicable access panel:
(5) Make sure that the applicable access panel (Ref. AMM TASK 57-51-37-000-004) is removed:
Subtask 27-64-44-865-056-A (1) Make sure that the 98D27803000000 LOCKING TOOL-FLAP SLAT LEVER,INT. POSITION is on the flap and slat control lever on panel 114VU.

(1) Clean the component interface and/or the adjacent area with a Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) made moist with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) . (2) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
(3) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(4) Apply Synthetic Ester base Grease-General Purpose Low Temp - (Material No.03HBD9) to the:
- hinges on the rear spar,
- hinges on the spoiler,
- sliding bush (29),
- hinge pin (20).

B. Installation of the Link-Spoiler 4 (1) Put the bushes (6) and (18) and the end of the links-spoiler 4 (7) and (19) in position on the spoiler brackets.
(2) Install the bushes (2) and (16) and the bolts (1) and (17).
(3) Install the washers (3) and (15) and the nuts (4) and (14).
(4) TORQUE the nuts (4) and (14) to between 1.36 and 1.13 m.daN (120.35 and 100.00 lbf.in )
