   (1) As necessary, use the applicable SAFETY BARRIERS, specified by the operator's instructions and your local regulations.

B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) Fully extend the flaps (Ref. AMM TASK 27-50-00-866-008).
   (2) Make sure that the 98D27803000000 LOCKING TOOL-FLAP SLAT LEVER,INT. POSITION is installed on the flap/slat control lever.
   (3) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in the cockpit to tell persons not to operate the flaps or slats.

C. Get Access
   (1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 4M (13 FT)-ADJUSTABLE below the applicable access panel, zone 575(675).
4. Procedure
CAUTION: BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU DO MAINTENANCE TASKS ON THE WING TRAILING EDGE:
  • DO NOT CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE ELECTRICAL CABLE RACEWAYS.
  • DO NOT CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE ELECTRICAL CABLE INSTALLATIONS.
  • MAKE SURE THAT THE ELECTRICAL CABLES ARE INSTALLED CORRECTLY. INCORRECT INSTALLATION CAN CAUSE DAMAGE.

A. Removal of the Access Panels
   (1) For the access panel 575AB(675AB) (4):
     (a) Release the ten camloc fasteners (3) then remove the access panel (4).
   (2) For the access panel 575BB(675BB) (2):
     (a) Release the eleven camloc fasteners (1) then remove the access panel (2).
   (3) For the access panel 575CB(675CB) (12):
     (a) Release the nine camloc fasteners (11) then remove the access panel (12).
   (4) For the access panel 575DB(675DB) (10):
     (a) Release the twelve camloc fasteners (9) then remove the access panel (10).
   (5) For the access panel 575EB(675EB) (8):
     (a) Release the eleven camloc fasteners (7) then remove the access panel (8).
   (6) For the access panel 575FB(675FB) (6):
     (a) Release the nine camloc fasteners (5) then remove the access panel (6).
   (7) For the access panel 575GB(675GB) (16):
     (a) Release the six camloc fasteners (15) then remove the access panel (16).
   (8) For the access panel 575HB(675HB) (14):
     (a) Release the nine camloc fasteners (13) then remove the access panel (14).
