Subtask 26-25-41-860-051-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
Subtask 26-25-41-420-050-C ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
(1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(2) Do a visual inspection of the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
(3) Make sure that the pressure gauge is in correct condition (Ref. AMM TASK 26-25-00-200-005).
(4) Make sure that the fire extinguisher bottle has the correct weight (Ref. AMM TASK 26-25-00-200-003).
(6) Install the fire extinguisher bottle (4):
(a) For the nut-clips (5) installation:
1 If the nut-clips (5) have been removed from the fire extinguisher bottle (4):
a Install the nut-clips (5) in the correct position on the fire extinguisher bottle (4).
b Put the fire extinguisher bottle (4) in its installation position on the waste-bin housing.
c Make sure that the discharge outlet is correctly positioned in the hole in the top of the waste-bin housing.
d Make sure that the washers (2) are in the correct position between the fire extinguisher bottle (4) and waste-bin housing.
e Install the screws (3).
2 If the nut-clips (5) have not been removed from the fire extinguisher bottle (4):
a Make sure that the nut-clips (5) are in the correct position on the fire extinguisher bottle (4).
b Put the fire extinguisher bottle (4) in its installation position on the waste-bin housing.
c Make sure that the discharge outlet is correctly positioned in the hole in the top of the waste-bin housing.
d Make sure that the washers (2) are in the correct position between the fire extinguisher bottle (4) and waste-bin housing.
e Install the screws (3).
(b) For the nuts (1) installation:
1 Put the fire extinguisher bottle (4) in its installation position on the waste-bin housing.
2 Make sure that the discharge outlet is correctly positioned in the hole in the top of the waste-bin housing.
3 Make sure that the washers (2) are in the correct position between the fire extinguisher bottle (4) and waste-bin housing.
4 Install the screws (3).
(7) Install the waste-bin.

(1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(2) Do a visual inspection of the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
(3) Make sure that the fire extinguisher bottle has the correct weight (Ref. AMM TASK 26-25-00-200-003).
(5) Install the fire extinguisher bottle (3):
(a) If the nut-clips (4) have been removed from the fire extinguisher bottle (3):
1 Install the nut-clips (4) in the correct position on the fire extinguisher bottle (3).
2 Put the fire extinguisher bottle (3) in its installation position on the waste-bin housing.
3 Make sure that the discharge outlet is correctly positioned in the hole in the top of the waste-bin housing.
4 Make sure that the washers (1) are in the correct position between the fire extinguisher bottle (3) and waste-bin housing.
5 Install the screws (2).
(b) If the nut-clips (4) have not been removed from the fire extinguisher bottle (3):
1 Make sure that the nut-clips (4) are in the correct position on the fire extinguisher bottle (3).
2 Put the fire extinguisher bottle (3) in its installation position on the waste-bin housing.
3 Make sure that the discharge outlet is correctly positioned in the hole in the top of the waste-bin housing.
4 Make sure that the washers (1) are in the correct position between the fire extinguisher bottle (3) and waste-bin housing.
5 Install the screws (2).

A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the ground service network is energized
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-861-001).
(2) Make sure that the aircraft is in the same configuration as for the removal task.

CAUTION:
MAKE SURE THAT YOU DO NOT BEND THE DISCHARGE TUBE(S) WHEN YOU REMOVE OR INSTALL THE FIRE EXTINGUISHER. IF YOU DO, YOU CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE JOINT BETWEEN THE DISCHARGE TUBE AND THE CONTAINER.
CAUTION:
MAKE SURE THAT THE EXTINGUISHER DISCHARGE TUBES POINT IN THE DIRECTION OF THE BIN WHEN THE EXTINGUISHER IS IN POSITION.
A. Installation of the Fire Extinguisher Bottle (1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(2) Do a visual inspection of the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
(3) Make sure that the pressure gauge is in correct condition (Ref. AMM TASK 26-25-00-200-005).
(4) Make sure that the fire extinguisher bottle has the correct weight (Ref. AMM TASK 26-25-00-200-003).
NOTE: If the fire extinguisher bottle was weighed a short time before this installation it is not necessary to weigh it again.
(5) Install the washers (2) in the correct position on the waste-bin housing. (6) Install the fire extinguisher bottle (4):
(a) For the nut-clips (5) installation:
1 If the nut-clips (5) have been removed from the fire extinguisher bottle (4):
a Install the nut-clips (5) in the correct position on the fire extinguisher bottle (4).
b Put the fire extinguisher bottle (4) in its installation position on the waste-bin housing.
c Make sure that the discharge outlet is correctly positioned in the hole in the top of the waste-bin housing.
d Make sure that the washers (2) are in the correct position between the fire extinguisher bottle (4) and waste-bin housing.
e Install the screws (3).
2 If the nut-clips (5) have not been removed from the fire extinguisher bottle (4):
a Make sure that the nut-clips (5) are in the correct position on the fire extinguisher bottle (4).
b Put the fire extinguisher bottle (4) in its installation position on the waste-bin housing.
c Make sure that the discharge outlet is correctly positioned in the hole in the top of the waste-bin housing.
d Make sure that the washers (2) are in the correct position between the fire extinguisher bottle (4) and waste-bin housing.
e Install the screws (3).
(b) For the nuts (1) installation:
1 Put the fire extinguisher bottle (4) in its installation position on the waste-bin housing.
2 Make sure that the discharge outlet is correctly positioned in the hole in the top of the waste-bin housing.
3 Make sure that the washers (2) are in the correct position between the fire extinguisher bottle (4) and waste-bin housing.
4 Install the screws (3).
(7) Install the waste-bin.
CAUTION:
MAKE SURE THAT YOU DO NOT BEND THE DISCHARGE TUBE(S) WHEN YOU REMOVE OR INSTALL THE FIRE EXTINGUISHER. IF YOU DO, YOU CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE JOINT BETWEEN THE DISCHARGE TUBE AND THE CONTAINER.

MAKE SURE THAT THE EXTINGUISHER DISCHARGE TUBES POINT IN THE DIRECTION OF THE BIN WHEN THE EXTINGUISHER IS IN POSITION.

NOTE: If the fire extinguisher bottle was weighed a short time before this installation it is not necessary to weigh it again.
(4) Install the washers (1) in the correct position on the waste-bin housing. (5) Install the fire extinguisher bottle (3):
(a) If the nut-clips (4) have been removed from the fire extinguisher bottle (3):
1 Install the nut-clips (4) in the correct position on the fire extinguisher bottle (3).
2 Put the fire extinguisher bottle (3) in its installation position on the waste-bin housing.
3 Make sure that the discharge outlet is correctly positioned in the hole in the top of the waste-bin housing.
4 Make sure that the washers (1) are in the correct position between the fire extinguisher bottle (3) and waste-bin housing.
5 Install the screws (2).
(b) If the nut-clips (4) have not been removed from the fire extinguisher bottle (3):
1 Make sure that the nut-clips (4) are in the correct position on the fire extinguisher bottle (3).
2 Put the fire extinguisher bottle (3) in its installation position on the waste-bin housing.
3 Make sure that the discharge outlet is correctly positioned in the hole in the top of the waste-bin housing.
4 Make sure that the washers (1) are in the correct position between the fire extinguisher bottle (3) and waste-bin housing.
5 Install the screws (2).

(2) Close the service door and close the door of the related lavatory.
