C. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the pushbutton GALLEY 2XA on the overhead panel 35VU is in the on position (the white OFF indicator does not come on).
(2) Make sure that the related C/B(s) of the hot-plate on the galley control panel is(are) closed.

4. Procedure

WARNING: DO NOT TOUCH THE UNIT UNTIL IT IS SUFFICIENTLY COOL TO PREVENT BURNS WHEN YOU DO THE MAINTENANCE TASK(S).

A. Do the Operational Test of the Hot-Plate

ACTION	RESULT
1.At the hot plate: Set the turnbutton to the unlocked position and pull the hot-plate fully out with the handle.	At the hot plate: The hot plate comes on automatically. The heating element becomes hot.
Move the hot-plate with the handle fully in and set the turnbutton to the locked position.	The hot-plate goes off automatically.

A. Close Access
(1) Put all related C/B and switches to their initial configuration.
(2) Make sure that the hot-plate is in its initial configuration.
(3) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.

B. De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits
