A. Energize the ground service network
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-861-001).

B. Safety Precautions
(1) In the cockpit, on the overhead panel, on the AIR COND section of panel 30VU:
(a) Make sure that these pushbutton switches are released:

APU BLEED pushbutton switch (the ON legend is off)
All the ENG BLEED pushbutton switches (the OFF legends are on)
PACK 1 and PACK 2 pushbutton switches (the OFF legends are on).

(b) Put the WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to operate these pushbutton switches.
(2) On the HP and LP ground-air connectors, put the WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to connect the ground air supply.

C. Get Access

NOTE: In this task, the condenser air filter of the air chiller unit will be referred to as the air filter.

(1) If you must clean the air filter in the air chiller unit for galley 1, remove the air chiller unit from galley 1 until you can get access to the air filter (Ref. AMM TASK 25-34-51-000-001).
(2) If you must clean the air filter in the air chiller unit for galley 5, remove the air chiller unit from galley 5 until you can get access to the air filter (Ref. AMM TASK 25-34-51-000-002).

4. Procedure
Subtask 25-34-00-160-051-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. Cleaning of the Condenser Air Filter of the Air Chiller Unit

Air-Chiller Condensor Air-Filter (Forward Galley) ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

Condenser Air Filter of the Air Chiller Unit (Aft Galley) ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

CAUTION: DO NOT USE THE CLEANING AGENTS TO DO THIS PROCEDURE. THE CLEANING AGENTS WILL CAUSE DAMAGE TO AND POSSIBLE BLOCKAGE OF THE FILTER PADS.

(1) Use the VACUUM CLEANER to clean the condenser air filter (31) of the air chiller unit (30).
(2) Examine the condenser air filter (31) for damage. If necessary, replace it (Ref. AMM D/O 25-34-00-96).

5. Close-up
Subtask 25-34-00-410-052-H ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) If you removed the air chiller unit from galley 1, install it (Ref. AMM TASK 25-34-51-400-001).
(3) If you removed the air chiller unit from galley 5, install it (Ref. AMM TASK 25-34-51-400-002).
(4) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.

B. Safety Precautions
(1) Remove the warning notice(s) from:

The HP and LP ground-air connectors
The AIR COND section of panel 30VU.

C. De-energize the ground service network
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-862-001).
