3. Job Set-up
Subtask 25-34-51-860-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) Make sure that the ground service network is energized (Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-861-001).
   (2) Make sure that the trolleys are removed from the galley.
   (3) On the AIR COND panel 30VU:
     (a) Make sure that the APU BLEED, the ENG 1/2 BLEED and the PACK 1/2 pushbutton switches are released.
NOTE: For the APU BLEED pushbutton switch, the ON legend is off.
For the ENG 1/2 BLEED pushbutton switch, the OFF legends are on.
For the PACK 1/2 pushbutton switch, the OFF legends are on.
     (b) Make sure that a WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to operate these pushbutton switches.
   (4) Make sure that a WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to connect the ground air supply:
On the High Pressure (HP) ground connector
On the Low Pressure (LP) ground connector.

4. Procedure
Subtask 25-34-51-210-050-I ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Preparation for Installation
   (1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
   (2) Do a visual inspection of the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
   (3) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
     (a) Make sure that the air grill cover (4) is clean and that the grill is not blocked.

B. Installation of the Air Chiller Unit - Galley 1
   (1) Unless specified, TORQUE all nuts, bolts and screws (Ref. AMM TASK 20-21-11-911-001).
WARNING: SUPPORT THE UNIT/ASSEMBLY. THE UNIT/ASSEMBLY IS HEAVY. IF YOU DO NOT SUPPORT IT, IT WILL FALL. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS, AND/OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
   (2) Install the Air Chiller
F Air Chiller - Galley 1 ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
     (a) Carefully put the air chiller (7) in position on the rails (5) and install the screws (6).
     (b) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
     (c) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
     (d) Connect the electrical connector (4) to the connector (3).
     (e) Push the air chiller (7) into its compartment.
     (f) Put the air grill (2) in position and install the screws (1).

C. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):

D. Safety Precautions
   (1) Remove the warning notice(s) from:
  • The HP and LP ground-air connectors
  • The AIR COND section of panel 30VU.

E. Operational Test
   (1) Do the operational test of the air chiller unit:
     (a) On the galley control panel, make sure that all the applicable circuit breakers of the forward galley are closed.
ACTION
RESULT
1.On the overhead panel, on ELEC panel 35VU:
  • Push the GALLEY or GALY & CAB pushbutton switch (2XA).
On the GALLEY or GALY & CAB pushbutton switch (2XA):

  • The OFF legend goes off.

On the galley control panel:
  • The POWER indicator comes on.
2.On the galley control panel:
  • Set the AIR CHILLER ON/OFF switch to the ON position.
  • Set the AIR CHILLER ON/OFF switch to the OFF position.
On the galley control panel:
  • The SYSTEM OPERATE indicator comes on.
  • The SYSTEM OPERATE indicator goes off.
3.On the overhead panel, on ELEC panel 35VU:
  • Push the GALLEY or GALY & CAB pushbutton switch (2XA).
On the GALLEY or GALY & CAB pushbutton switch (2XA):
  • The OFF legend comes on.

On the galley control panel:
  • The POWER indicator goes off.
5. Close-up
Subtask 25-34-51-410-050-F ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Close Access
   (1) If the galley trolley(s) is (are) removed, install it (them).
   (2) If the decorative material(s) is (are) removed, install it (them).
   (3) If the contents of the galley are removed, install them.
   (4) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
   (5) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.

B. De-energize the ground service network
