C. Get Access
(1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE in position, at zone 120.
(2) Open avionics compartment access-door 811 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-41-00-010-002).
4. Procedure(1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE in position, at zone 120.
(2) Open avionics compartment access-door 811 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-41-00-010-002).
Subtask 25-18-00-040-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Deactivation of the Additional Cockpit Electrical Supply System
(1) Remove the static inverter (3NA) (2) (Ref. AMM TASK 25-18-51-000-001).
(2) Cut and remove the lacing tape (4) that maintains the bonding cable to 522VN.
(3) Protect the electrical connector (1):
(a) Cut a piece of 254 mm (10.0000 in.) length of the protective sleeve (5) (shrink sleeves P/N ABS0916 (FAPE3) or P/N E0126 (F6198)) ESPM 2042120.
Use the ESPM only to get more information about shrink sleeves P/Ns. For installation, do the steps that follow.
(b) Thread the half of the piece of the protective sleeve (5) on the connector (1) and turn back the remaining part. Do not make the protective sleeve (5) warm.
(c) Make sure that the connector is fully protected by the protective sleeve (5).
(d) Safety the protective sleeve (5) with cable tie NSA935401.
(4) Stow the harness with a cable tie NSA935401 on the structural part (3) ESPM 203331.

(2) Cut and remove the lacing tape (4) that maintains the bonding cable to 522VN.
